My point with the healthcare worker story was that it’s not like the virus had really been spreading in the area previously.  It was found in 2 people traveling from Nigeria, then in the healthcare worker caring for one of them.  Yes, it’s theoretically possible the healthcare worker got it from someone else, but highly unlikely.

Agree with the rest of your post though.  That’s partly why my theory is it spreads mostly through fecal matter, which could also explain the healthcare worker getting it if they had to handle the patient’s poop (and of course would also explain genital lesions in gay men which Horseman is too dumb to realize).  It’s not that it’s “gay” secks that spreads it most often, it’s bottsecks, and that just happens to usually occur between men.
