I heard a podcast recently about Discover credit card opening up a call center in a poor area of south Chicago.  It seemed to be successful and as such was a feel-good story.  One of their points was the value of local jobs.  They didn't necessarily hire people who weren't otherwise working, but those people reduced their commutes dramatically by working near their homes.  This allowed them to be home more to raise their kids well, so that those kids could be successful and help break the cycle of poverty.  That's great, I applaud them.

Thing is, nobody is going to loot a call center.  A retail store (grocery, big box, whatever) couldn't do what Discover did.  Well, they could, but we see the results. I don't see a solution to the food desert problem.

Think about the ideology of "protesting that a store be forced to stay open".

The great part is....is that by referring to them as a different genre that they occupy (liberal), you don't have to call them "blacks".   So folks can't cry "racism".  And this is why the word liberal is starting to be seen as a negative, demeaning word in casual language.  I got a warning or some focking thing on TikTok for simply writing "You're a liberal "    (I also got a 1 day suspension for posting comments because I simply used the word "gay" on some gay guys tik tok.  Think about that.  Gays should be mad as hell.  The word "gay" was seen as negative.    I called a gay guy gay.  So if I call a strong guy strong, is that also gonna get a ban?  LOL.  Crap like this is why Americans are getting sick of liberals. 

The fact that hardly a single liberal (I have yet to see one, but there probably are somewhere) stand up to their peers doing this kind of stuff is WHY liberals and the liberal political groups are ACCURATELY labeled as "animals, thugs, criminals, pro-criminal" etc. 

So here is a common comeback some liberals will respond with, say on facebook....when I make a comment like you just (accurately) made:  "How do you know they are not conservatives?"  (or how do you know they are liberals?) I know how I answer it. I'm curious as to you other board Americans will answer that.
