To answer your additional question. Things are going ok. These periods of time aren’t in a vacuum.

Trump was booted out without having to deal with the after effects of global shutdowns and money being given away to feel no pain.

During his run we started some semblance of national health care, unemployment rate was cut in half, stock market went way up, ended war in Iraq.

You brought him up. So what did he DO to make the stock market go up? Same thing as Bush? Or was there something different? How did he cut unemployment? You know so much about the results, why can’t you tell us the how? Also, no one likes Obamacare, especially the people that have it, and much like was predicted  health care costs have Skyrocketed.  That’s what happens when you let the insurance companies write the legislation.

If we are being fair Presidents get much credit they shouldn’t. However, The Economic Recovery Act should get credit for being a right way for government to spend in times of crisis and was successful. Stock market just follows along with the economy. It definitely seemed to like Socialist Obama.

Bush wasn’t in charge when they passed the Economic Recovery Act. It was what largely created The Tea Party. I can’t remember the votes but Republicans thought it was too large if I recall correctly.

So for starters, we were in a deflationary cycle due to the financial collapse.  Then as part of the bailout, banks were required to hold more money which kept it out of circulation.  That's 2 for starters.
