PGA has more money than they let on. Of course in the long run no one can hang with Saudi $$... but I guess I feel like this was a cash grab disguised as "these lawsuits will destroy us", because I don't see why they would have to keep fighting it. Lift the bans, make whatever concessions would be necessary and continue to focus on your own tour and the history and prestige you play for

Chamblee is PGA’s errand boy so who knows but he was apoplectic the other week and he was taking a much different tone in this interview.

Also was theorizing that these LIV players will have a hard time getting back on the tour if LIV gets dissolved by this agreement. No clue where he was getting thGThe at. 

For sure, but we didn't need Shamblee to tell us this - it was apparent. The PGA Tour has a lot of mouths to feed, and all have to be paid - including Jay-boy himself. The guy preaching about greed himself was getting paid out the ass. Yes his salary is $4m, but with incentives and deferred incentives - it was more like $14m. 

Jay-boy and the rest caved to money, straight up. When the endgame started to look like their own earnings might be affected - they sought a compromise.

Right, no reason to start as late as they did. That was garbage and unfair to the leaders. Looks like the start times have been moved up today.

Well I was pulling for Fowler, but the moment was just big for him - and apparently Rory too. Christ if that dude could putt a lick, he’d have won by 3 or more. 
 

The moment wasn’t too big for Clarke - he did just enuff to hold on. Not sure I’ve ever been happier for a dude to hoist a major - this guy seems genuinely awesome. Congrats sir, you are most deserving.
