On the phone call, Trump claimed that there where three hundred thousand fake ballots and two hundred thousand forged signatures in Fulton County.

That claim is false.

The question is, Did Trump know it was false? Or did someone give him bad information and Trump was just searching for the truth…

If there were 12K fraudulent votes to be found, wouldn't you want them to be found? 

I'm sure he wanted to find ALL of them. Maybe they only find 12. Maybe they find 120K. The fact is he wanted them to throw out enough fraudulent ballots to secure his victory. If I thought the other side was cheating I'd do the same thing.

OK. We’ll see if that’s the actual defense that is offered, and if so, if a jury buys it. I have a feeling that, outside of MAGA land, this argument is going to be rather hard to sell. But we’ll see. 

Also- for Trump to offer the sort of defense that you’re suggesting here, he’s probably going to have to take the stand and testify. That should be interesting.

Here’s my take: in most of these indictments Trump has no real defense whatsoever. He’s guilty and looking at a lot of prison time. So his only option is to win re-election and, in the meantime, try to argue that the truth is not what it appears to be.

There were no fraudulent votes. That is a fact.

Making a claim that there were hundreds of thousands of instances of fraud when there was IN FACT no instances of fraud is quite a detachment from the truth.

So you have to ask yourself, did Trump know he was lying? Or is Trump a babe in the woods who was lied to and most certainly a victim.

So when Biden says something that sounds incriminating, he just misspoke. But Trump is to be taken literally, verbatim, whenever he speaks. Got it. 

Also, being a "lying sack of sh!t" doesn't mean one would try to cheat to win an election. Especially when we're talking about Trump. I have no doubt in my mind that Trump didn't think he needed to cheat to beat Biden. His ego wouldn't allow that.
