Greg Gutfield had an interesting observation last year. He said that there is too much forward "momentum" with identity politics for big corporations to say "No" anymore. Look at Anheuser Busch. Part of the reason for endorsing Mulvaney was backlash from LGBT activists about donations and contributions to causes and groups seen as "anti-LGBT / anti-abortion rights"  So AB tried to appease them, now it's backfired, then it backfired again, and BOTH SIDES want to boycott Bud Light. It's a lose/lose/lose situation. 

Gutfield mentioned that you can be cancelled if you support everyone across the board ( many major corporations do this, they give a little to lots of groups ) then you can be cancelled against for simply saying nothing at all or deciding you don't want to be involved. 

In 2020, Expensify's CEO, David Barrett, sent out a political email to 10 million on his email list. The problem was that the companies that these people worked for were the clients of Expensify, and the employee emails were added so "expenses" could be properly reimbursed. Also many of the emails went to Europe, which is a violation of the GDPR. Barrett was betting doing this would make Expensify a "household name" Then it came out that many of his employees opposed the idea to start, so he created a "committee" of 20 select employees to vote on whether to send the email out or not. Only one person disagreed with it. But Barrett said the email had company support and came from employee "consensus"  The subject matter of Barrett's email was about voting. So Barrett wanted to talk about voting rights, when the email about it in the first place, came about from a vote of a small subsection of his total employee base. And he handpicked who would be on this "committee" It would be hilarious if it wasn't so stupid. 

Brian Armstrong of Coinbase said no politics at all in 2020. He said any employee who didn't agree, that he respected that and he offered an immediate exit package. Some employees actually took it. So PepsiCo stopped all political donations in 2021. They were hit hard by the radical left by those saying donations were given to "anti-abortion rights" groups and advocates. So you can see how there is a fast track to what amounts to extortion at this point. Say you support BLM or LGBT or woke completely, or we'll "cancel" you. 

Now PepsiCo is betting on it's size to protect it. Even if someone tries to cancel them, they have the financial weight to weather it. Sure rank and file working class people might get laid off or suffer, but the high corporate level will be "safe" 

But here's the rub - The DNC and Team Blue are more reliant on small dollar political donations than the GOP overall. A lot of that dried up with the BLM corruption scandals ( buying million dollar mansions)  and the impact of the economy and inflation. Now big corporations are incentivized to give nothing as well. You can't win elections without money. This is where this "momentum" can go wrong for political grifters.

Team Blue just keeps finding ways to self implode. 

What is sad about all this is now modern American society has every incentive to never talk to anyone, never donate to anything, never help anyone and never say anything at all. And this is going to have trickle down effect with HR departments all over America. Who honestly, and in private, would want to hire radical leftists, LGBT wokesters and possible black activists into your company today? Look at the Jordan Neely situation. At some level, I do understand why many people just don't and didn't want to get involved. There are lots of teachers who personally think this woke crap and sexualization in schools is wrong, but many are thinking about just keeping their jobs and paying their mortgages and keeping food on the table for their kids. That's the rub here. The people with the most incentive to stay silent out of pure self preservation are the exact same people who are disproportionately punished when that silence enables even more and more stupidity from the radical left.

A more chilling indictment is that the few black families who "get ahead" that did live in very poor mostly black areas just get up and leave the first chance they get. They aren't trying to come back and reinvest and save those communities. 

The black single mother who put herself through college and works two jobs to get her kids into a better neighborhood and school district, she's not looking to start a small business in those same high crime impoverished areas. She wants out, she wants her kids out, she wants to be gone from there for good. 

Without "reinvestment", then all hope is nearly gone. If black actors, celebrities, singers, etc, etc, used their wealth to build black owned businesses in these communities, then that would create jobs and opportunity. That would uplift the schools in the area. It would allow some black businesspeople to emerge as viable political voices in their area to help sway public policy in their direction. ( Not the way it works now, which is basically social extortion ) 

But it's seen as a bad investment. Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry are wealthy enough to basically build a city for the overall black community. With real practical investment in critical businesses and infrastructure. But they won't do it. Because they know it will eventually be looted out and razed to the ground by crime, drugs and poverty anyway. 

Working class black people who get ahead, most are not looking back over their shoulder. I don't blame them. But it operates IMHO as the most sweeping indictment that the overall black community might never be actually saved.

In HS I worked at a Red Lobster for a year.  The black servers never wanted to wait on tables of all blacks. They would fight over who was going to take the table. Some tables would have a  195.00 dollar tab and leave 200.00. The black women were worse.  

The line cooks and I were tight so I ate like a king that year.  Only thing is they do no use the most healthy of recipes. Lots of oil and butter.

I have the same stories but in different restaurants. Everyone hated waiting on black people. Everyone.

See, that's something I find interesting. Only Chris Rock has something as such publicly before, in a comedy routine, that it's actually black people themselves who are likely to be the most aggressive as "racist" to other blacks. He didn't use the term "other blacks" though, he used the N-word. But since Rock is black, he's socially allowed to talk about the divide in the larger overall black community. I.E. like any other group, it's not a monolith.

Nothing racist about it. 90% of black people don't tip and they demand a lot of attention. A lot. Black waiters know this.

Tips are the waiter's salary in this country. Like it or not. And they hog your time taking your time away from other tables, complain a lot, don't tip well, and generally suck overall. 

Black culture in every way is simply something that needs to go. Best way for this country to deal with it in the short and long run.. 

It's not racist to not want to wait on black people.

Everyone who has been a server, or even worked in the service industry in some capacity, has the same stories. I was a waiter during undergrad and I’m sure my stories are the same as Red Lobster etc.

I was living in Annapolis at that time and I think the Dennys there may have been a key focused location in the news for all of that. There was a normal Dennys that out of nowhere became a black "community center" on the weekends. The blacks flooded the place on the weekends and ordered little and hung out all night just socializing with everyone and causing all kinds of shlt. I remember going there once on a late night weekend and they put us first in a long line and the blacks were pissed. The place was a focking zoo with no cages. They ended up getting shut down for being "racist" basically. I bartended at the time in the area and got to know the servers at Dennys because it was such a big topic. They were quitting left and right. The city shut the place down for a few weeks as a punishment for their "racism". 

The place was awesome weekdays but on Friday and Saturday nights it was ghetto mania. Why would anyone want to deal with that in their job?
