I think premise is weak, and wrong.  Especially given Trump's statements about dozens of others in subsequent decades.

This seems a reasonable start.

And, how measurably, was this guy's life rooned more than a guy whose wife and kid he killed without a single probative measure of exculpatory evidence.

Really?  This is all you've got?

Trump? You are drunk.

It would be awesome if it were you that was lied about by biden.

His daughter said  he never got over it.  But you know how he felt. And because Biden suffers a tragedy that lets him off the hook. What a callous prik.

And, by the way? We're still looking at a two billion dollar investment it was overridden by the Saudis best investment advisors supplied to Jared kushner. Which includes a 25 million annual fee. Which is more than SteveMnuchin is paid by the Saudis? who is Emenetly more qualified.

And by the way? Saudis decided that they're going to move their biggest golf tournament from Saudi Arabia to wait for it wait for it? Donald Trump's golf course. And let's not even talk about the ginormous golfing extravaganza property that's being built in Saudi Arabia with way for it, a trump hotel. No, these guys aren't dirty at all!

Jesus, did you guys pick the wrong f****** dog. 😁

I can do this all day long. 😆😁🙂

This was explained to you sh!tlib but you’re too stupid to comprehend it. What were the Biden’s paid 40 million for? BTW this figure is documented through bank records so you can suck it.

Yup, Biden certainly has restored decency to the White House. Looking forward to the pride celebration there next year. Maybe he will invite his granddaughter.

His DN A finally fessed up to it 150 years later.

Any idea how many Americans alone have zero contact with their grandparents?

A group of people who include:

- someone who wished rape on a kid so a parent would "know what it felt like"

- constantly post videos and attack people for being pedophiles

- use gay insults towards people constantly

- are constantly calling people "pedophiles" and "groomers"

suddenly care about human decency?

I believe this is appropriate:

Jerry Springer was once a rising star in politics. Strange as that sounds. He had a shot at Governor in Ohio in the early 80s. I'm old enough to actually remember that, I figure most people here are younger than that. The Democratic Party actually looked at him very closely for a while. He was an incredible public speaker given the time and place. But he got busted for solicitation. Had it happened in today's time, I'm not sure how many people would actually care.

In 1988, Gary Hart got caught in a sex scandal, but arguments were made he stood a better chance than Dukakis against Bush Sr. But if it happened in today's time, would most people care?

So had Hart won, then Jenna Bush would have never been a First Daughter. And she was a hot mess for them. The changes the Secret Service made post Jenna Bush ended up setting up the pathway to detach from Hunter Biden, instead having private security contractors cover him. That ended up preventing the USSS from likely just shutting down Hunter Biden and basically locking him up for years to ensure he couldn't drag them into a scandal.

So little things, over time, end up mattering over the long haul. The battle over a couple of seats on the Court Of Appeals long ago ended up nuking the judicial filibuster, which turned into Gorsuch, which caused Roe to fall.

Can you imagine President Jerry Springer? It could have happened.

When Oprah was just starting out in Chicago, her agent arranged for her to go on a date with...Roger Ebert. The agent told Oprah to hitch her wagon to the already established Ebert. And apparently he liked her. The first date was going to see Revenge of the Nerds. At some place while eating afterwards, Ebert talked to her about syndication, and without that advice, Oprah would never be what she is today. Also if she married Ebert, she might just be a slightly famous housewife, or widow now. Small things matter.

The loss of social "norms" really roots back to the destruction of the basic nuclear family, the erosion of the insular tightly knit neighborhood and community and Third Wave feminism basically ending any value in basic courtship and marriage. Which has crushed the birth rate, which will have tragic economic ripple effects in years to come. It's unfortunate. I'm old enough to remember the difference. Certainly it wasn't all perfect back then. But life was simpler. People were less openly vicious. I feel badly for younger generations, because this "new current normal" is all they've ever known.

So @weepaws is right. The widespread collapse and breakdown of how people see God and religion ( which encapsulates the value of family, community and marriage) started a cascading effect that has gutted our society from the inside out.

Integrity used to have real social value. There were guard rails. Now it only matters for one's personal growth and a desire for authenticity. And usually one is punished for choosing that path.
