timschochet would do that at "the other place"  He'd get banned for X amount of time, then because he couldn't stay away, and needed the attention, he rolled out one of his many aliases. Attacking the same people and saying the same things as he did before. Then when called out on having aliases, Tim would eventually have the banning expire timewise on his main account, then start arguments between his main account and his active alias. I suppose to better "sell the story" that they were two different people. 

So I didn't post nor visit the forums in "the other place" for really long stretches. I was gone for like 7-8 years straight and came back for a short while because of the pandemic. And it was jarring the first time I saw timschochet arguing with one of his very evident aliases. Someone I exchanged PMs with pretty regularly said that it was widely tolerated because the Staff there felt that Tim had nowhere else to go, no other community, no other social outlet, and that to permanently ban him would be an act of cruelty. And that the long time posters there from the beginning just accepted the constant "Tim" toxicity as part of the culture. 

So a major point here is that if you are going to have 250K plus posts in a handful of forums from the same platform, then at least say something interesting. That has always been the problem IMHO with guys like timschochet, squistion and Sho Nuff. They want attention. But they can't get attention by contributing something of actual value. So they demand attention by being toxic, i.e. just being their natural selves. If you deleted 100 percent of everything Tim has written at the other place, all the topics, all the posts, from all the aliases, nothing would be missed. There would be no impact at all. 

If you are going to say a lot, then at least try to say something interesting. But then again, we are talking about what are likely low value people with no integrity and limited critical thinking ability.  There's a reason no one misses them at the "other place"
