The videos you show are the fringe.  But to agree is saying that it just get more and more normalized.  When something becomes more and more common it is a trend.  A trend out of control really moves the pieces on the board a lot faster.  

People pushing this stuff are just making it worse.  The same posters just 10 years ago here who defend, would have said this takes 100 years to get to the point it is now.  These same posters would have been railing on thid making fun of it 10 years ago.  But they will say they "progressed". No you were just swayed by 1 half of the norms that shamed you into submission.

Hey man, I don't get it either.    But like I said, why the obsession with DGSH and things like that when I saw a HS dance team do a routine that was only missing Motley Crue, a couple poles, and peach perfume, if you get my meaning.   You can't tell me it's about sexualizing kids or being against any of that at school when that is being trotted out frequently at events largely without a peep.  

You probably won't agree, but when I look at who the GOP frontrunner is,  I find anything the right says about personal responsibility completely laughable.

We still don't agree, and that's ok.    It's just a different group of people who get the pass and who the "free for all" is for.    The same people railing against being tough on crime and enforcing laws look the other way when banks and corporations hose us for billions.   Similar example can be used for bank bailouts on down the line.    

To paraphrase LC, I definitely don't agree with all their crap, but at least they are trying "something" when it comes to getting some to people other than the 1%.  

That said, I am definitely not with them on their ideas about crime lately, I'm not going to defend Biden, and largely still agree with most of you on a lot of stuff.

Well, there are a couple things that came to mind, which is why I asked you to clarify.   One would be pronouns and letting the kids do that without telling parents, the other books/materials without parent permission.

My two that instantly crossed off a couple R candidates in the last few years:  stop the steal and abortion bans.    

Also, if we are being honest, we should also talk about how wide reaching some of these policies you name are.   How many states does your #2 apply to, and you said #3 is a Cali D issue.   IMO stop the steal is far more prevalent on the right than any of the 3 you listed is on the left, just to use the examples listed so far.

The attempted assassination of SCOTUS Kavanaugh has hardened the Conservative Catholic core on the Court. Merrick Garland did literally nothing. Zero. These people are human beings as well. You can't egg on their deaths, because that's exactly what is going on here, and not see some kind of response in their rulings. Mazie Hirono basically called Coney Barrett a wh0re to her face, during her hearings. Why was that necessary? It wasn't. But Hirono had to show she would "Defend The Blue Tribe" at all costs. 

And all the free stuff that Clarence Thomas got is indefensible. Should he be removed from SCOTUS?  Yes, if all the allegations are true, however there needs to be mechanism that upholds basic Checks And Balances and Separations Of Powers. Team Blue wants Thomas out to try to retake the Court for themselves. They want Congress to set standards for SCOTUS. Well it's not how our Founding Fathers set that up. I don't have a problem with Thomas getting the boot. However, there needs to be a real process other than the partisan upside for the DNC.
