Yes they suck, yes better local delis are infinitely better, but there are enough tools here to support these businesses. Instead of doing a Google search to look for an article, go look at a Google maps page and look for them there. Then scroll down and see how say "Temporarily closed". LOL In Cape May County, there's 2 stores, 1 says "Temporarily Closed". In Atlantic County, there's 3 and 2 are down the shore. In Cumberland County there's 4, 1 says "Temporarily closed". In Salem County, there's 2, near the Delaware Memorial Bridge. In Gloucester County, there's 5, 1 is "Temporarily closed". In Camden County, there's like 8 and they're mostly along the PA border. In the 6 southern countries, the vast majority are in area's that service out-of-state type people, meaning tourists and people who come from Delaware and PA for work and eat lunch here. Like I said, I don't go to NY Jr that often, so I don't know what's up there. What I do know is if you're in the southern 6 counties, you're not really going to find any unless your near the state border.
Hardcore troubadour 15,317 Posted September 5, 2023 I would make Gutterboy eat subway and give his home cooked meal away to a homeless migrant in one second.

And fast food franchises don't typically put up stores where nobody lives. Do the same search with McDonalds, or Chick Fil A, you'll see the same.

Cruzer 1,995 Posted September 6, 2023 I don’t mind Subway… I usually get the tuna - for a sub I don’t need Bluefin flown in from Japan… If I can find a Jersey Mike’s or Schlotzchys tho, I’m going there.

I mean hell, here are oscar meyer cuts from the 1980s. tons of variety and flavor and this was considered basic bottom of the barrell back then. now almost all of these are gone and you select from bologna, turkey or ham. there was a lot better options from higher class places back then, but in 2023, this would be considered top-shelf.
