Sad that she spent her final days mumbling incoherently at Senate meetings. Somebody, anybody, should have stepped in. She should have been resting, privately, surrounded by family.

Yes she should have stepped down. But I prefer to remember her as terrific stateswoman, a moderate, centrist old school Democrat with great integrity. She will be sorely missed/
