Reality 3,121 Posted September 29, 2023 Sad that she spent her final days mumbling incoherently at Senate meetings. Somebody, anybody, should have stepped in. She should have been resting, privately, surrounded by family. Her generation has a grip on power and they refuse to let go. We need to make rules that prevent this. RIP

RIP Difficult conversations that everyone deals with at some point. I agree it was sad seeing some of those clips. RIP

The Real timschochet 6,761 Posted September 29, 2023 Yes she should have stepped down. But I prefer to remember her as terrific stateswoman, a moderate, centrist old school Democrat with great integrity. She will be sorely missed/

IGotWorms 4,058 Posted September 29, 2023 Are they gonna prop her corpse up on the senate floor? Maybe one of her aides is a ventriloquist?

Also, this one is more accurate, the other could have been about John Feinstein...
