That the vaccines must be pulled from the market?  Yes

By "especially," do you mean "only"?  And by "have ," do you mean "have a severe case of"?  :dunno:

For #1, no.  While there isn’t as much data to say it doesn’t work as a prophylaxis, there isn’t good data to say that it does work as prophylaxis either.  Also keep in mind the topic is Pierre Kory and his early testimony was that ivermectin was saving people, not preventing them from getting it.

For #2, no.

Also keep in mind the topic is Pierre Kory and his early testimony was ivermectin was saving people, not just helping mild cases get better.

Well his post was from yesterday. I guess that remains to be seen.

For #1, it is yes.  The absence of data makes your initial statement incorrect.

For #2, instead of severity, I should have stated time -- Ivermectin is thought to be effective early in the infection.  Somebody who has had Covid for 7 days (as allowed in your study) is past the time when Ivermectin could help, regardless of severity.

That being said, I find it odd that a 20% improvement in time to resolution of symptoms (from 12 to 10 days) is not viewed as statistically significant.  This implies to me that their sample size is to far to draw any significance one way or the other, which they somewhat imply in their "meaning":

Quote

Findings  In this randomized clinical trial that included 476 patients, the duration of symptoms was not significantly different for patients who received a 5-day course of ivermectin compared with placebo (median time to resolution of symptoms, 10 vs 12 days; hazard ratio for resolution of symptoms, 1.07).

Meaning  The findings do not support the use of ivermectin for treatment of mild COVID-19, although larger trials may be needed to understand effects on other clinically relevant outcomes.

"Do not support the use" is different than concluding it is ineffective.

Resonates, though a bit dramatic ...unless he and his mom are getting state of the art healthcare and monitoring.

I don't know a single soul who died from the effects of COVID. However, I do personally know 3 young healthy men who ALL died 8 months apart after getting their COVID shots around the same time.

Call it coincidence if you will, it's not. All 3 were Military
