Is his band any good?

And does he seem like a cool dude or a massive d0uche?

I’ve always liked him but not sure why, or if it’s deserved.

No, it wasn’t Spider-Man or King Kong hanging off the side of the Empire State Building this week. It was Jared Leto.

The actor and singer on Thursday managed to climb the historic Manhattan skyscraper in a stunt to announce his band, Thirty Seconds to Mars is embarking on a world tour.

The “2024 Seasons” tour will take an extensive run across Latin America, Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand, marking the group’s first headline tour in over five years.

Leto, the band’s frontman, completed the first-ever climb of the Empire State Building.

“The building is a testament of all the things that can be done in the world if we put our minds to it, which is largely the inspiration behind our most recent album, It’s The End Of The World But It’s A Beautiful Day,” Leto, the frontman for Thirty Seconds to Mars, said in a statement.

Leto is an avid climber, but this was a major feat.

“I made it. I’m alive. I made it to the top, and I was just saying, I saw my mother in the window of the 80th floor, that was a nice surprise,” Leto told the “Today” show. “My mom came to visit.”

I have heard the name of him and his band. No idea what he has acted in or could not name any of the songs from his band. I assume I have heard a few of his songs on the radio over the years.

I could find this out via google search if i cared.

I couldn't tell you a single thing he's acted in, but I knew him as the front man for this band before all of that.  Phenomenal voice.

He was in fight club back in the day. Not a huge role though.

Also American psycho.

Requiem for a dream was maybe his biggest role?

Since then he’s mostly done weird stuff, but usually pretty good. Like Mr. Nobody

I think he started on My so Called Life in the 90s, but I never really caught onto that show. 

I remember seeing him for the first time in How to Make an American Quilt and I thought he was extremely good looking. 

His band is pretty good, but I see him doing a lot of the "let me do this whacky shiiit and wear these whacky clothes" to try and get attention. He's very talented, for sure. 

 

Never saw him in Suicide Squad tho. I don't like the make up in that movie, the silver teeth and all of that isn't my mental picture of the Joker, and I find Harley Quinn extremely annoying. But I am sure he was a good Joker.
