Ja'Mar Chase without Burrow -- Rest of Way

Recommended Posts

I would say  slim chance

more likely he is a WR2 or WR3 depending on the quality of the QB who is now starting.    At this point the QB is still a relative unknown.  There is not enough info to determine how good he is at the pro level just yet.

if the QB is extremely inept, Chase may not even be startable.

Tough situation for owners of any wr/rb with the Bengals,  not see Chase being a top ten wr going forward.

I see his targets staying the same, but no where near the efficiency. I have him in my main league, and I think we are looking at WR3 numbers or worse on games where he doesn’t score a TD… also, there is a real chance they shut him down for the season with any moderate injury. I’d monitor that back injury if he is still hampered by it.

Yeah it’s not going to be like it was with Burrow, I don’t see why it would be.

I'd guess he's going to be similar to the first two weeks when burrow was hobbled by the calf injury.

Any chance Chase is still a top-ten WR without Burrow the rest of the season?

I'd be shocked. He'll need to rely on volume, because you can kiss the yardage & TDs goodbye.

I thought Browning looked pretty good the short time he played.  Mobile.
