1st Rd Next Year?

Recommended Posts

Granted, we still have a few weeks left.  But as crazy as the drafts were this year, I think next year will be even worse.  As it stands now, who the hell would even be worthy in the first round?

Hill

Cmac

JJ

Chase

Lamb

Brown

Etienne

Mccaffery followed by 11 WRs.  I need to find some Rbs real quick, my 14 team league I’ve been in since 1988 goes back to a 14 non ppr next season.

Curious how Achane will finish the season.  He’s such a big play threat he could get some 1st round attention if he closes strong.

  1. McCaffrey
  2. Jefferson* (pending QB situation)
  3. Chase
  4. Hill
  5. J. Taylor
  6. Bijan Robinson
  7. B. Hall
  8. Kelce
  9. St. Brown
  10. LaPorta
  11. AJ Brown
  12. Diggs

I think the top of the second round features a lot of RB's like (in no particular order) K. Williams, Mixon, Etienne, R. White, Montgomery, etc...

This, and he could be a steal if he falls past the 5th pick.

St Brown in PPR. I could see Bijan getting a bunch of hype again, especially if he happens to finish strong.

Agreed.

Seems likely that he would be.

He's the #4 RB in my league despite missing 4 games. As soon as he came back from his injury, he picked up right where he left off.

He's basically been what Bijan Robinson was supposed to be

I think that also depends on what happens with Mostert and Wilson.

2 TE's in the first.  I'm not saying that's how I'd rank them, that's what I think will be the way most 1st rounds fall.

What's your scoring system?  Is it a performance league?  He's not a RB1 in my league (standard scoring/PPR)....

  1. Christian McCaffrey    297.1
  2. Raheem Mostert    215.4
  3. Travis Etienne Jr.    209.7
  4. Alvin Kamara    188.1
  5. Rachaad White    183.9
  6. Joe Mixon    178
  7. Brian Robinson Jr.    177
  8. Derrick Henry    176.68
  9. Josh Jacobs    175.1
  10. Isiah PachecoQ    173.8
  11. Tony Pollard    171.5
  12. Bijan Robinson    171.2
  13. Kyren Williams    169.7

It's a unique scoring system. Dynasty league that started in 2008.

PPR with a big longball bonus. Good bonus at 100 yds.

Top 5

CMC- 238 pts

Mostert- 165

Etienne- 152

K Williams- 133

D Montgomery- 130

Kyren is 2nd in avg with 16.6 ppg, only behind CMC with 19.8 ppg

He's had two games with only 4 pts, but other than that, his lowest is 13 pts, with a high of 32.

He scores pts in a variety of ways, one of the few true workhorses left

In my 14 team .5 ppr Williams is third in avg, behind Mccaffery and Achane.  At that pace Williams should be a first rd pick.

Kyren Williams didn't play every game so of course he's not going to be in the top 13 of total ff points.

Yeah, he is behind Achane in my league as well. I didn't even see him in the ranks because his total pts are a bit lower.

We get big bonuses for TDs over 40 yds and even bigger bonus for TDs over 50 yards. Literally like about half of his points came from one game.

I wouldn't draft him in the 1st round if it were today. He's not gonna sustain 9.5 ypc or anywhere close to it. He will certainly be a good fantasy player, but not sure how much he's gonna come back down to earth

He’s RB7 in my league YTD.  Standard 1pt PPR.

Understood, but in the post I was responding to, he claimed that Williams was already RB4 in his scoring system.  That's why I asked what scoring system he used.

1 pt per 10 yards, 1 pt per reception, 6 pt per TD?  That's the scoring system we have, which I thought was the standard system. The list I gave is right from our website.

This website has Williams at RB12, my guess is that the difference is turnovers.  My league takes away 1 point, theirs may take away 2.

Of the players on your list the first 3, McCaffrey, Jefferson and Tyreek Hill are all worthy of 1st round picks. After that it's a.crapshooy and debatable.who'll follow the top 3. Guess it'll depend on your league format and scoring. Hill is having an amazing year but I'm still gonna say my 49ers RB MvCaffrey is the top pick in round 1. He fits really well into Shanahan's.system and will continue to produce excellant fantasy numbers.
