Winter meeting thread. It is a signature event now so ed added to the schedule

Looking at the winter meeting thread, it seems we have 10 events, 9 players, so 10x9x50=$4,500 available.

 

I have no memory of how the payout went last year so I'm just brainfarting here:

Scenario 1, pay out the same for all tourneys

Each event:  $400 total, 200/125/75 for 1/2/3, $4000 overall

Cup:  $500 total, 250/150/100 for 1/2/3, $500 overall

 

Scenario 2, pay out more for majors

Majors (4): $500 total, 250/150/100, $2000 overall

Other events (6):  $320 total, 160/96/64, $1920 overall

Cup:  $580 total, 290/174/116, $580 overall

I posted in the "winter meeting" thread. 

 

The fact that this is now just the Sentry and include the top 50 from 2023 fedex standings seems like it could be a real event for us with a full 6 golfer draft.   I still question 10 overall events though.  8 always seemed like the perfect amount.  more or less 1 per month through August.

open to a 10th but i'd say don't force it. better to roll with 9 vets than someone who might ultimately flake. also with shallower talent pools, 9 instead of 11 this year might have us feeling like we are drafting a full team of professionals

10 events. $50 per event. You draft 6 golfers and your 3 best scores count. (Must have 3 players make cut). Payouts for each event and season long. New draft for each event.
