David Njoku owners (@ least those playing for the championship this week) have to be pleased with this news.

WHAT IF

Joe Flacco leads the Cleveland Browns to a Super Bowl victory, he has already taken the former Browns in the form of the Ravens to a Super Bowl victory,

would he be inducted into the pro football hall of fame? I'll say yes, based on Eli Manning will get in based on a decent career and 2 SB wins.

I heard this exact argument on TV the other day.  I'd say neither belong in the Hall.  And flacco isn't a manning so he doesn't have that extra cred.

Pick 6 for the Browns!

Eli Manning finished his career top ten in yards and touchdowns. And he’s still top ten.  That’s a little more than decent. Flacco is nowhere near that.

They're both better than I thought.

passing yards - Flacco is currently 19th https://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/pass_yds_career.htm (moves up to 18th as soon as he passes Russell WIlson)

passing TDs - Flacco 29th https://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/pass_td_career.htm

Eli threw for 4K yards 7 times. Flacco did it once. Eli is a first ballot hall of famer.

The browns D is dominant and it seems like the game has slowed down for flacco

Flacco has been great since his return to the field.

I’d say Flacco is what constitutes a bounce back player.

I would say Flacco is without question the bounce back player of the year.

If Brady gets in Eli should get in because by the transitive property of geometry he was the GOAT twice.

Flacco's play action fake the other night was the best one since Baker Mayfield faked everyone out a few years back in his rookie season with the browns. WTF are coaches doing all day not teaching this? The D went after the RB hard in both cases as the QB hid the ball on their hip.
