We forgot to get this started so we will start with event 2. 

$5 per event and carry over until a hole in one is made by one of your drafted players. Hole in one wins the pot.

Yes. Pot will carry over each event with everyone having to donate $5 more. It took 6 events last year before anyone hit. You didn't play last year but did have a hole in one and ed made fun of you.
