Of course they offered no theory.  Any theory would have been scrapped in the peer review process.   There are no explanations which point at the white man, which destroys the narrative of the education establishment.   You can not explain in a way which does not implicate self-infliction within the black community, which is a strict no-no of the leftist elite.   They vaguely reference racism to avoid discussing anything real.
