I've been blissfully unaware of this influencer.  I do not seek to be influenced, nor do i need influencing.  If this person has an audience, good for him i suppose.  Whether him having an audience is good for the nation or the world depends on his message, which I am unfamiliar with.  Life is short.  I beleive i will spend time planning my summer kayaking instead of acquainting myself with this fedllow.

My wife is getting me a new jackson Zen 3 for my birthday.  She thinks i don't know.  I just know she wants to keep me from backpack rafting alone up in the high country.  She wants me back on more well traveled waters like the Blue, the Fraser, the Colorado and the Poudre and sometimes the Arkansas.  She thinks this will do the trick.  I am certain she will insist I staqy out of Gore Canyon.  One of my niece's friends, an experienced guide, died there last season.  My wife need not worry, that canyon is far too technical for this fat old man.

Yep. Struggled with drugs and alcohol, likely due to the back he broke while serving in the military. 

Worked construction, started a business with some friends, busted his ass while getting an education at the school of hard knocks. Now getting rich exercising his 1st Ammendment.
