I'm actually Facebook friends with him and Mahomes' step-mother and have been for a long time. He played high school ball in a small town near me, and I've been following him since then. They seem like down-to-Earth people, and I think he's got a problem, and it's not entitlement. 2 1

I’ll go out on a limb and say he’s gotten out of many others due to his privilege. You think he gets arrested every time he’s been caught? Not a chance. He keeps doing it because he keeps getting away with it.

Well, that can't be said quite yet, seeing as his arrested is only two days old and any trial, conviction and punishment is months away. You're just saying that because his son's friend's girlfriend doesn't care for Clownzo. I won the forearm today. Go to bed and dream about that 100,000th post! cmh6476 1,020 Posted February 5, 2024 Sounds like he's already done 40 days over weekends, so i'm assuming more jail time is forthcoming. I also think some people who live in heavily populated metro areas don't get the difference in access to public transportation in different parts of the country. Believe me this isn't an excuse or reason to do it. But going out where HT has options isn't the same as how others have to figure out rides. And I'm not referencing that to this situation with mahomes. He probably had options. But I've seen HT be hard line on the issue and going out for a couple turning into more isn't the same everywhere. Still doesn't excuse it, like I said before.

cmh6476 1,020 Posted February 5, 2024 I probably shouldn't have posted a post excusing drinking and driving (not what that was, but kinda). My only point was its much easier to be safe with access to public transportation. That's all, really.

I'm saying where I'm at uber rides are often unavailable during late hours (I tried a week or two ago, matter of fact and none accepted my ride and i had to cancel) and to call the local taxi company you might find the wait to be an hour. I'm just saying it's not as convenient and can be a deterrent for some, unfortunately. I'm just saying when I see you talk about it you often act like the choice is an easy one. It is, either have a ride or don't drink. But the option to get a ride home safely isn't always as easily available as it is in more urban areas.

Then, if you can afford it which I assume he can, you have a driver. I don't understand athletes or affluent people who don't have a plan for situations like this. When Carmelo Anthony was a Nugget he got a DUI in Denver and I'm like WTF. Dude makes 10 million a year and can't afford to have someone drive him when he's intoxicated?
