I don't know...while I despise liberals just as much as the next sane adult, I wouldn't put pedos to death unless they killed their victim. I don't have an issue of the constitutionality of death sentence for pedos, but if I were a state legislator, I think I'd vote against it. What's to stop the pedo from murdering his victim just because he figures "I'm gonna get the death penalty anyway, I might as well kill the witness and maybe get away with it"?

That was the downside of the Lindbergh kidnapping law. In fact that played a factor in a well-publicized murder of a kidnapping victim some years ago.
