Inmate who killed stepdaughter in 2001 now identifies as an 'Islamic practicing transwoman'

A transgender inmate serving a 55-year sentence for strangling his 11-month-old stepdaughter to death filed a civil lawsuit against the prison chaplain for allegedly prohibiting him from wearing a hijab outside his immediate bed quarters, despite identifying as a Muslim woman. 

Autumn Cordellionè, also known as Jonathan C. Richardson, is currently serving out his sentence at the Branchville Correctional Facility, an Indiana Department of Correction state prison for men. 

According to the lawsuit filed Nov. 30 and obtained by Fox News Digital, a prison chaplain told Richardson the hijab was not allowed to be worn outside his immediate bed area. Richardson is seeking $150,000 in damages and the ability to wear the hijab "anywhere I go within the facility."

"I informed him that I wear the hajib [sic] in order to cover my head and ears for modesty purposes, as I am an Islamic practicing transwoman," Richardson said in the lawsuit.

She's a disruptive force on the school volleyball team and bless the other middle schools around here for having to deal with her. With not too many girls that height, she has the opportunity to be a special athlete and I'm glad for her to make use of it. Fortunately, this is Florida where things like this don't happen.

I've been researching this because if the unfortunate happens and I get caught robbing a bank, I want to make sure I go to female prison.

But these 2, especially the NJ one (which the prison confirmed was not rape) appear to be actual trans women (edit: and yeah yeah in before “there’s no such thing as an “actual trans woman”).   The GC claimed that any schmo (in a state that allows this) could just say they’re a woman and be transferred to a female prison, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.

First link had to sue, with part of the lawsuit being to get gender affirming care. Not a dude just wanting to get into a womens prison.

Second link: only 21 of the 261 requests have been approved so far.  So they’re not just automatically transferring dudes that just want to get into a women’s prison.

Third link has been receiving hormone therapy for 40 years.  Not just a dude wanting to get into a womens prison.

Being more likely to grow up poor, in dangerous environments, with subpar educations, without both parents (if any) in the home, and without proper nutrition would likely have an impact.
