Yes and No.   The law of Georgia for removing a DA is for Conflict of Interest.  They should be allowed to remove for miscounduct.  There was massive misconduct, but it was not necessarily a conflict of interest.   It is sad that DAs are not held accountable the same way the people they prosecute are.  Perhaps the state's prosecutor, the Bar, the Georgia senate, or the US Congress will hold Fani accountable.   

Even if this judge was correct to punt to other authorities to deal with Fani, there was no excuse for the judge not hitting Fani with multiple contempt of court charges for her behavior when she testified.  The judge was spineless.
