NFL Free Agency/ Draft 2024

Very good chance he is there at 9 unless those teams all have him above Nabers.

Joe Alt and thr Penn State OL should both go top 10.  Ive heard there may be no defenders taken in top 10.  But can easily see 1 grabbed in there.

I don’t know about 5 QB’s going 1-8. Def 3, probably 4. 5 is pushing it.

I think he would have a possibility of being there at 9.  WRs can go early but in those 8 picks there may be 5 QBs and 2 WRs.  All you would need is 1 other player to be picked and hes there.

Then they will take him if they don't trade back.

5 is pushing it.  But its possible.   Several scenarios.

Think they could still take a WR early?  I suppose it wouldnt be that surprising.

I would love having Odunze on the team with DJ Moore and Keenan Allen grooming him for the pros. But one thing is for sure, the Chargers need a WR. :D

NE, QB?

Arizona, Harrison.

Chargers, Nabers or Odunze (Bowers?)

Giants QB, trade, or WR.

Tennessee no receiver as they just bought Ridley.

Atlanta, defense. Edge.

If the Giants don't take a WR, you may be right. One of the big three WRs could drop to 9. I stand corrected. I forgot about Ridley.

I think NE is going to have a rough year. I'm betting they get the #1 next year. 2 wins.

I have the upper hand. The times are changing.

And the fudge packers can keep losing with the pretense they are winning all they want.

The eagles are on their way down as well.

Do you remember the last time the Bears beat the Packers?

I don't care. They both didn't win the super bowl last year. All there is now is this year. Bears are moving up.

Oh boy. The packers won the right to get their asses kicked by Baker Mayfield. How did this theme of packer fans whining about the Bears come about here on this site?

The Bears were founded 103 years ago and they have won one Super Bowl.

Well, you go cry about the past. Have fun. I'm enjoying the present.

The last thing I think of doing in my fantasy league draft every year is walk in and remind everyone that I won 3 championships 5+ years back. No one gives a fock.

Bob Papa and Charlie Weiss are right now gushing over the Bears fleecing of Carolina last year on xm radio.

Bears got,

Darnell Wright, Keenan Allen (traded pick from Carolina), Tyrique Stevenson (He's looking good), DJ Moore, 1st overall pick this year, and a 2nd next year to boot.

Weiss just called Poles the GM of the decade with that one move alone. 😆

The Bears were 7-10 last year and finished last in the NFC North for the second year in a row. Good Times!

The last time the Bears won a playoff game was in 2010.  So I guess technically they are moving up?

It has been a total rebuild. 2 years ago Poles gutted the team to get the salary cap under control. And he did that successfully. I'm smart enough to realize that.

When you don't follow a team, you come across like you don't know what you are talking about when you attack that team.

Oh, I get it,  today the Bears are exactly where the Detroit Lions were when they drafted Matthew Stafford.

Matthew Stafford was the first overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft by the Lions,

Didn’t they trade for a top end WR last year and sign a top RB in FA too? I don’t think that’s gutting anything. They gave Fields the tools and it didn’t work. It only appears they gut the team because they aren’t paying top QB money. Their salary cap wouldn’t be so hot if Fields were being kept due to him performing.

Top RB last year? Foreman?

All I can say, is no team comes back the next year from a complete gut job the year prior and wins the super bowl. The Bears window is over the next 2-3 years. I'm not going to judge them on last year. They got 4 more wins than the year prior. Now it's just who will be their QB?

I stand corrected on the RB. But like I said, the salary cap only looks good in light of Fields not getting paid , which they would prefer.

I am not attacking them, I am attacking you for your moronic view of success in the NFL. Saying a Super Bowl win or nothing is a feeble attempt to elevate the Bears to be equal to the other 30  losing teams in the NFL. It doesn’t work that way, The bears still suck.

If you're going to count every year of the organization then you also need to count the championships before the Super Bowl was a thing.  The Bears won 9 total championships in their history which is second most in the NFL, after the Packers with 13.

In their minds, history only goes as far back as they choose. They think they are being clever.

So you are saying Rex Grossman is = Aaron Rodgers with 1 total conference championship win.

I agree.

Seafoam said it was Super Bowl or nothing, I am using his parameters. When you are talking to a person that believes only one game in the entire NFL season is important. You have to meet him on his level..

This is an interesting year for both NYG and Chicago. Throw in Minnesota and the Jets.

It should be fun.

What affect did that loss have on their season? They lost to Tommy Devito too. If they won both they still come in second and go on the road. The won a playoff game on the road and then went on the road and lost.  Those losses have zero significance.

Then you can't use every year, you would say they have only won 1 SB in 57 years.  I think 20 different teams have won a SB, 15 of those have won more than 1.
