During his starting season this past year he had a rough stretch of about 4 games early to mid season and people on message boards were talking about him like the Packers better start thinking about a plan for a new starter for 2024.

Maybe the media.  Because talk shows hang on each game.  Good game this guys great!  Bad game this guy sucks!   I don't remember any actual fans wanting to give up on Love after a few games.  He tore it up week 1 vs Bears. A few games very early into a guys starting career is a bit different than 3 years of starting that Fields has shown.

So the talk media questioned if Love was the guy for a few weeks?  Sure I guess I can agree.  There was no big push saying Love was a bust.  The Packers certainly didn't believe that for 1 second.  He was throwing to rookies.  Youngest team in thr leagur by far.  Anyone who knows anything about football knew there would be a bumpy road with basically a college team.

They haven't watched him play. They have no clue.

Bears told the Eagles to fock off. 😆

The Eagles have long been attached to Justin Fields as an ideal landing spot for the fourth-year quarterback.

That rang true, as the Eagles reportedly checked in with the Bears about Fields before acquiring Kenny Pickett from the Steelers on Friday, according to reports. Dan Graziano reported his findings on ESPN on Sportscenter.

"The Eagles, from what I understand talking to sources around the league, were one of the teams that had talked to the Bears about Justin Fields, but obviously could not get to the point where they agreed on a price, so they traded for Pickett," Graziano said.

I guess Howie wasn’t willing to outbid Pittsburgh.

6th rounder.

Bears can trade down twice if they want to keep Fields for another year. In the end, if all they would get for Fields is a third, why not keep Fields, build the team and trade down for multiple early picks, including in this draft and go after 2 QBs next year and let them fight it out for starter job?

😂

It's fun to watch you girls whine about ex Bears players. Your teams aren't worth talking about.

He did hang up on philthy. What's your obsession with ex bear players?

Your wife may be big enough to play nose tackle but too bad it's all fat she carries.

would say the Bears are in a pretty good spot.

They traded a 1st Round Pick for a 6th Round Pick. And you trust this organization with a another young QB? 😭

You're trying to hard

They were 11-6 last season despite their collapse. They are way more talented going into this season.

The Packers and Lions will own that division for the next 10 years. Good luck in purgatory.

Nobody has a clue what Poles will do. There are a ton of people guessing and someone will guess right, but it would just be a lucky guess is all. The whole thing about the trade market is all speculation. I could see Poles keeping Fields and trading down in the draft, trading Fields and trading down in the draft, keeping Fields and drafting a QB, and whatever combination of things including drafting Williams at #1.

I knew all along. Funny how you were so clueless! 🤣

I thought Fields looked good in the games I watched him play and 7-10 was a respectable improvement over last year. Obviously, the NFL doesn't agree with me.

By going with a rookie in Chicago, they're saving tons of money on cost of QB and we are seeing them putting that money into every other position with some quality free agents. If they do hit with their rookie QB, this has the potential to be a solid football team as soon as next season.

The Bears are using the #1 pick on Caleb Williams, the best prospect in the last three years. It's not like they just gave up on Fields for no good reason. They did keep him over using the #1 overall pick last year.

I hate this trade so much. Might as well keep him for that terrible value. Now they only have 4 draft picks.

If they kept him I would have been fine for him to start with the new guy in the bench. But the Bears don't want him in the pucture so that's fine too. Glad that is over. Next up...

The cute bears fans thinking they would get a 1st round pick for Justin Fields lol.

I told them all for months.   And I even ended up overestimating what they would get.

Then you had ones "we dont know what Poles will do"  "maybe they keep Fields and trade back!"  "Maybe we draft a guy and keep Fields that couldnt hurt!"

It was clear as day they were drafting a QB this year.  If not now then when?

Bears fans are some of the most out of touch fans in thr league.  As to how the league works and what teams do.

Hey lets just trade back to 2 then trade back to 3 then trade back to 7 and get a haul!   Its a video game!  Easy! Lol
