Another Win Against DEI

Quote

SB 17 bans DEI offices, initiatives and employees from fulfilling those functions at Texas public universities and colleges. In Creighton’s March 26 letter to university system chancellors and boards of regents, he expressed disappointment that some colleges might just be changing office names and titles as part of their compliance, and he cautioned that “this letter should serve as notice that this practice is unacceptable.” He warned administrators that lawmakers can take legal action and even freeze state funding for their institutions if they do not fully comply with SB 17.

We need more of this.

Hallelujah!  Common sense prevails.

Why  did fighting racism with even MORE racism ever become a thing?

It will take many years of common sense to dig out of this liberal horror dreamscape that's forming around us. I like hearing about these small victories but I'm skeptical about the big picture. There are too many people in this country that preach like that Tim guy on this site. And they vote.

Wisconsin State Bar suspends DEI program after lawsuit

Quote

A settlement between the State Bar of Wisconsin and WILL was reached on Thursday to end the "discriminatory DEI practices at the State Bar."

Going forward, mandatory dues of the state bar will no longer fund internships and policies that prioritize a candidate's race, but instead merit and diversity of viewpoint.

We have a far left Democrat lunatic as our governor.  He'll try to do an end-around the state constitution/state legislature at some point, I'm sure.  Democrats don't believe in the rule of law - only the laws they want to follow.

Agreed.

That's kinda the point.  You can't give someone a job based on their color.

And let's not even start on history and how people have gotten jobs through cronyism and nepotism.

And DEI does EXACTLY that - gives people jobs based on skin color.

Maybe this is the problem.  Stupid people like you that don't understand DEI.

Dummy, it's illegal to give a job to someone based on their skin color.

Biden vows to nominate Black woman to U.S. Supreme Court

Apparently not in all cases.....perhaps only when someone of color feels slighted in some way....for not being simply handed something?

Ohhhhh so......its ok in certain cases.....🤔

What if he said, and then placed, a white male? Still ok?

And if we place someone somewhere, based on race or gender....can we do that for a white male....or would that act THEN be wrong for you....

It's ok as long as it's not illegal, yes, that's the general rule of society.

If he said he wanted another white man, still not illegal, correct.  Morally wrong, yes, because I believe in fairness.

Wrong......

That would be an unacceptable behavior.....placing people based on skin color.....gender or any other irrelevant factor is what we spent decades trying to unfock......doing it today, under the faux auspices of morality is despicable....

So, in summary:

"Racism is okay as long as my side does it!"

Like Ive said before, racism never left the Democrat Party and liberals.  It's still there, alive and well.  Especially with your history of racial and gay slurs!

Now GTFO, you dumb f'n POS.  Take you and your boyosexual buddies and go back to your ghey bodybuilding forum.

We spent years trying unfock discrimination.  The move to diversify the supreme court furthers this.  Considering white men made up 4 spots already, they are not being discriminated against, obviously.

Placing someone on the court, and announcing it was because of their skin color and gender, id just repugnant....and has no place in this society.....frame it how you want....it would be wrong if he said white male and did it......allowing as you are is just beyond unacceptable.

You forget that I've seen your posts for what? 20 years.  I know you've made racist comments for the majority of that time.  People like you think supporting a grift like DEI means your not racist because you still can't understand after all these years that all you have to do to not be racist is treat people equally.

I suppose it's good you're at least trying to not be racist.  Good for you.

Who's "we"? Certainly not the Democrats and certainly not YOU, of all people.

I mean, your party has kept it alive and well ever since you fought a war to KEEP it going.  And with your history of racial (and ghey) slurs around here, you keep proving it.

You literally started a thread wondering why black people don't fall in line with you.  I mean, we all know your dumb as a box of rocks, but now I'm starting to think I've just insulted actual boxes of rocks.

Sure I've made racist jokes over the years but I've always treated people equal.  I never viewed them as racist since they were jokes but the world has changed and it's no longer acceptable.

So your criticism of me is that I've changed for the better?  Or that making racist jokes should still be accepted?

Cultist:  DEI is evil and gives jobs to unqualified people based solely on the color of their skin

Also Cultist:  The system worked when 90% of the top jobs in the country across all industries were white men.  We know that only the most qualified people were hired because only white people are qualified for these jobs.  How else could you explain 90% of the jobs going to 35% of the country?  It's clear that white men are the most qualified for any top job.

Cultis be so dumb...SMH

This didn't happen before DEI?  Is that because only white men are qualified in your eyes?

That is exactly what it is. I have worked in recruiting for many years now and I can 100 percent assure you that DEI is a cover for anti white policies. I have had a hiring manager look at me and tell me they are looking for someone "that does not look like you" looking like you being a white male.  I had one HM reject any candidate that was white. No matter the skill level. I am being told to "focus on dei candidates" which is a code for do not hire white people. The liberals out there will tell you that is not what DEI is intended for. However that is absolutely what happens in practice.
