Compared to when? In February (latest official data from FRED), they were at $3.00, down 29% vs February of 2023.

We can agree to disagree.  Normally I would not make the point so emphatically, but the harm these people are facing is pretty bad....   The kids needing weekend food in Baltimore has doubled, and we can see from the links I provided and the polling that its getting worse.... so I worry a little about what happens when it gets so bad they feel like they have nothing to lose...

It will change the election this time around, this mess has really galvanized people

They are back to normal for me.  I quoted a price of $2.79 for a dozen large eggs.  I would have paid close to that in 2019.
