According to the following article, the person who took Bowman down is a 70 year old moderate backed by Jews with a long political career.  Unless he's gone to the dark side at an advanced age, I'd expect him to represent the district much more moderately and "normally" than Bowman.

I just read about Latimer as well -- been in politics 30 years, he didn't just come from nowhere.  Also seems pretty centrist, and supports Israel.  

He'll likely win the seat so it'll still be a D, but he looks like a big improvement over the raging antisemite.
