Could we consider creating a thread dedicated just to the agenda? While it is likely true that you will find fault in every aspect of the plan instead of debating it forthrightly, I would think that it could be valuable to have a thread that methodically goes through it, who knows maybe you highlight some stuff that people are not thinking about, you could even change some minds....

Well, this move makes sense on one regard.....these people will work diligently to undermine him of course, as we now know transpired last time....so there is that...

BUT.....it should be restrained.  I think routing out the leadership at the very least, the highly partisan ones who allow political ideology to dictate their service to country.....and past that being more limited makes more sense to me.

makes sense to me too but when you have a group of people dedicated to working against you at every turn then they have to go.  Leadership or not.

But what i find funny is the whining coming from the lefties proclaiming this is some end-of-the-world event after reaping the rewards of those same loyalists.  They're aren't upset they're being replaced - they would do the same thing - they're just upset that they won't have unelected insiders working against conservative presidents and leaders.

I think it is rather common for Presidents to make some changes, and get people in place they know will support their agenda.

So this federal employee thing is NOT new. Trump signed an executive order known as Schedule F before he left office. So there’s no questioning whether it is real or not. Biden rescinded it, but of course Trump has said he plans to re-implement it if he wins. 

These employees are guard rails to our government. It is one of the many checks and balances that we have. No one should be for this.

They are unelected bureaucrats making policy decisions, sabotaging Republican administrations because they are radically partisan. That’s tyranny. Please point us to the section of the constitution that gives them these checks and balances. They can learn to code.

Normally, I wouldn’t reply to such drivel, but you seem to not understand that it works both ways. It’s not healthy or even a democracy if there is never  any opposition during an administration. If everyone is on the same team, there is nothing from stopping someone from implementing more extreme policies when their party is in power.
