What did Trump mean when he told Christians: "In four years, you won’t have to vote again"?

Recommended Posts

Does that mean there will be no more elections?

Trump: You have to get out and vote. You won’t have to do it anymore. Four years, it will be fixed, it will be fine. You won’t have to vote anymore.. In four years, you won’t have to vote again.

For some reason he thinks Christians don't turn out in elections and he's saying that if they vote this one time(for him presumably) he will fix everything they worry about and won't have to vote ever again. That was the entire context of it.

What I find more crazy is how fake he is and they don't care.  'I love my beautiful Christians, I'm a Christian, I love you.'  It's skeevy hearing him say it.

He talks like a dimwit while he’s making up all his bullshit at these pep rallies.

This is how a babbling dope says something to the effect of “we are going to make everything so perfect that all you religious zealots will have it just as you want”.

So everyone should believe him.

He meant you won't have to vote for him again because he will no longer be eligible.

All politicians do on bof sidez.  Polished ones just repeat nonsense party lines and Trump does the same but off the cuff.  No idea why anyone gets up in arms about it.

So let’s take it for what it is after running it through the Trump babbling dummy software - he’s going to make everything perfect for Christians. National abortion first. What else do they want 🤔

Can we have a list?

I wrote what he really meant below your post.

He wants the next four years to try to fix this clusterfock then he'll be out of politics.

Ironically, if the Dem party had allowed him to be reelected in 2020 like he should've been, they wouldn't have had to try to assassinate him a few weeks ago.

We'd all be living large and he'd be in the rear view mirror in a few months.

I don't think so because he was saying this in 2019:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/trump-says-supporters-might-demand-that-he-serve-more-than-two-terms-as-president/2019/06/16/4b6b9ae2-9041-11e9-b570-6416efdc0803_story.html

Trump says supporters might ‘demand’ that he serve more than two terms as president

President Trump on Sunday floated the possibility of staying in office longer than two terms, suggesting in a morning tweet that his supporters might “demand that I stay longer.”

The president, who will kick off his reelection campaign on Tuesday with an event in Orlando, has previously joked about serving more than two terms, including at an event in April, when he told a crowd that he might remain in the Oval Office “at least for 10 or 14 years.”

Trump has said repeatedly that your beloved abortion issue should be decided by the states.

Why do you hate the Constitution?

Of boy. I see we need to have messages pieced together from across decades to translate.

So you don’t have to vote for anyone ever again because he’s not running any longer. Well you may have something there, he’s def not going to give a shet after this election 😂

Who's going to stop him if he suspends the 2028 elections? Not the Senate or a Republican controlled house. Probably not SCOTUS who put the actions of POTUS above the law.

Whatabout Biden! 😢

Trump talks like a focking idiot is the point. What he says frequently makes no sense or is just total BS.

What he meant to say was he’s going to open the borders and let more terrorists and freeloaders in and you’ll play for it with your blood and money.

A. Patriotic Republicans would not allow that to happen.

2. SCOTUS did no such thing.

Same team, dictator is coming to America, left team right team same goal , destroy this country,  but people will keep voting for it, until it’s to late.  Lack of knowledge.   Trust in God, Not in man.  Amen.

Thanks.

As usual, you guys love to leave out the important facts when they don't fit your narrative.

"Official Acts" was the operative clause in their ruling.

Suspending an election because you wish to retain power would not be an "official act" as POTUS.

It would be if Trump or whoever is POTUS called it an official act, as according to SCOTUS the President has absolute immunity.

Recall that Trump's attorneys argued that a President could order SEAL Team 6 to kill a political rival and face no criminal consequences.

Trump team argues assassination of rivals is covered by presidential immunity

Former President Trump’s legal team suggested Tuesday that even a president directing SEAL Team Six to kill a political opponent would be an action barred from prosecution given a former executive’s broad immunity to criminal prosecution.

The hypothetical was presented to Trump attorney John Sauer who answered with a “qualified yes” that a former president would be immune from prosecution on that matter or even on selling pardons.

Well it seems Biden wasted no time in testing that theory.

He meant this one vote to get him elected, and he'll become dictator for life, then pass it on to Don Jr, Ivanka, Baron, etc, etc, etc.

If Trump wins, all he’s going to do is spend the next 4 years using the office to enrich himself. You have nothing to worry about. He’s no dictator just a garden variety shyster.

Why would he want to stop enriching himself (or his family) after just 4 years? He is not going to give up a license to print money (so to speak).
