3rd in the NFL with 154.1 yards per game? Only behind Baltimore and Philadelphia? Oh yeah, they sucked. 😆

Yeah, and Jalen Hurts and Lamar Jackson didn't run for any yards. As well and any other QBs in the league.

OMG!! What an outlier you found. 😆

You don't think QB rushing is part of the rushing game for teams. It's never designed by the coaches? And the oline has no impact? 😆

I’m reading that McCarthy, having been fired by Dallas, might be heading to Chicago. Thats certainly an improvement on what they had, but it’s not the dynamic coach that I think Caleb needs.

I'm betting against McCarthy. I don't rule anyone out, as it is the Bears, but they are actually interviewing 20 different guys for the job including Pete Carroll and a couple college coaches. I think they just want to hear what ideas all these guys have on how they would fix the culture of the team. I think the favorites are Johnson, Monken, Brady, at this point, but who knows? They can't even meet in person with Johnson, etc.. until after the teams are out of the playoffs or play in the superbowl.

news that's emerged about Caleb Williams and how he wanted to circumvent the draft process or, more specifically, prevent the Chicago Bears from selecting him (the team that has buried the careers of numerous quarterbacks) is of course interesting.

I saw fans overreacting about it all last week.  Means very little to me as a Bears fan.

“At times, Williams said he would watch film alone, with no instruction or guidance from the coaches. ‘No one tells me what to watch,’ Caleb Williams told his dad. ‘I just turn it on.’”

Yeah, the last coaching staff was trash.  I'm not worried about any of that stuff in the past right now.

Absolute nothing burger in my opinion.  He's there now, he didn't actually do anything.  And now may have the support he needs to be successful.

I watched the first round of the draft and Williams looked pretty freaking happy on stage with the Bears hat on. He even came up with his own little Bear hand gesture bear claw thing.

I don't really care. But you seem to miss the whole point of what people are saying. So, whatever.

No. I’m making fun of his, as you described it, “little hand gesture “ thing.

At least it wasn't a gang symbol I guess. That seems to be a wide receiver type thing in the NFL though.
