One of my favorite announcing teams of all time was Costas and Tony Kubek on NBC. Too bad he’s such a bich. Calls a good game though.

To me it seemed like he knew a lot more about the Yankees and not so much about the royals.   Which makes sense because they get more exposure, but when you are calling the game you should be well versed about both teams.   It was almost like he is a fanboy for the yanks. 

 

Some guys are just better at hiding their bias than other announcers.

Costas has never been accused of being a fanboy for the Yankees. Opposite. He’s known as being an NL man, particularly the Cardinals.
