Why do you people always try to say "your guy"? I don't have a guy. I don't trust anyone in government at this point and think they are all crooked. 

I just find it inherently interesting that a bunch of people here who play amateur sleuths over Youtube videos put out by basement dwellers that show Biden is creepily touching kids or whatever other nonsense they want to put out there, but yet when we have an ethics committee investigating Gaetz. And there are things out about what was found. And he steps down from the House for this position right before the report comes out. And the House Speaker says "Well we shouldn't release the report at this point...." Well, that is a lot of smoke being ignored because someone doesn't want to call it a fire. And it isn't people cobbling together heavily edited videos. It is straight testimony from the victims in this case.

I also find it inherently interesting that when this Gaetz stuff pops up you create long posts pushing at people on the left here for believing it yet you didn't really say a word on the Biden stuff.

Really - the same DOJ lead by Garland who was so afraid of appearing biased he appointed a special prosecutor to look into why Trump took, didn't return, obstructed the FBI, tried to destroy evidence and hid boxes of classified documents at his golf club to see if it was a crime.  Yeah, it's unbelievable.

Do you think this Congressional report about this should be released? The guy is up to be the face of the nation for legal matters.

I do not think the House should set new precedent by releasing the investigatory file.  I do believe Gaetz should be questioned about the major allegations at a confirmation hearing.  He ought to be prepared for such questioning.  I do believe he should not be a recess appointment.  We need answers.  Also, while I do not believe the top law enforcement officer in the country needs to be as pure and above reproach as ceasar's wife, I do believe he or she ought to be nearly so.  The legitimacy of the Office in the eyes of the people needs to be maintained.

It's been done before---it's not new precedent. This man is about to become the top cop in the nation, damn straight any investigative evidence should be on the table for the senate and the public to review.
