Judge with # 52 to give the Yankees the lead. 423 feet. Yeah, it’s the stadium.

How bout them Reds

Fock. I was just going to type - Mets(Marlins) and Reds (Brewers) both today 3:00EST. Reds win and in playoffs no matter what Mets do. Mets win Reds lose ; Mets in playoffs. Reds have their destiny in their own hands.

I liked those 90 reds. Sweeping the A’s is one of the great feats in baseball history. O’Neill nailing Henderson at third is a forgotten classic play in the WS. But O’Neill is a Yankee. The warrior.

You can have Paul, buddy. The Cincinnati Reds will always have Barry Larkin. (Better than Jeter)

As a Tigers fan, the Indians are who i would have preferred in the first losers round.   They cant hit, just like the Tigers.  I can see multiple low scoring one run games.

Tigers have zero chance against toronto or the yanks.

Glad the Mets spent billions on Soto to miss the plsyoffs too

Not that anyone else cares, here is the order that I am rooting for in each league...

National
1. Padres
2. Brewers
3. Reds
4. Cubs
5. Phillies
6. Dodgers

American
1. Mariners / Indians
1a. Indians / Mariners - I would take either of them honestly
3. Blue Jays
4. Tigers
5. Red Sox
6. Yankees

@posty remind me who you root for ? There was a post on Reddit Mets board saying most Mets fans are rooting for the Padres which was quickly shot down by many Mets fans “speak for yourself !” So I was wondering why Padres for you ?
Me National league is

Reds

Brewers

Cubs

Padres

Dodgers

Phillies

I’ll go:

AL:

Tigers and Yanks / M’s over Tigers, Yanks over Jays / Yanks over M’s (FU)

NL:

Doyers and Pads / Phillies over LA, Brewers over Pads / Phillies over Brewers

Phillies over Yanks

I have been a Braves fan since they started on WTBS and Dale Murphy used to be a catcher and was damn good at throwing out runners, as long as they were trying to steal centerfield...

I can see the Tigers beating the Indians.  Yeah, they have our number, but I feel they are due.

I think its dumb to celebrate a WC berth with champagne in the locker room.  The tigers blew a focking 15.5 game lead in ths division for crissakes.

How about the Marlins celebrating like they just made the playoffs with a team picture in front of the dugout when all they did was win game #162 and knocked Mets out of post season. That was their world series.

BS...Making the postseason is HARD......So celebrate all day.   I wonder if the Mets wish they could celebrate?

They blew a 15.5 game lead.  Gotta change expectations at some point.  Are we hanging a banner too?

Who was the team that got ragged on for hanging banners?  Was it the Colts before they won it all with Manning?

Not sure, but I feel like banners are for championships....not WC, Division, or league/conference wins.

I think it was the Washington Mystics for when they led the WNBA in attendance a couple of years...
