Thats why you nominate him for a Nobel Peace Prize.   Netanyahu has this figured out.

Netanyahu knows flattery is the best way to goad Don into doing what you want. Bibi needs to keep the wars going so that his numerous bribery and corruption charges don’t catch up to him.

As per letters sent to various countries yesterday, in addition to letters that will be sent today, tomorrow, and for the next short period of time, TARIFFS WILL START BEING PAID ON AUGUST 1, 2025. There has been no change to this date, and there will be no change. In other words, all money will be due and payable starting AUGUST 1, 2025 - No extensions will be granted. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

He really means it this time guys.  No more fooling around

Don't call him TACO!

He’s good. Just saw him on the 4th. Soybeans are in the fields growing right now, along with corn.

Taco Don says that there was never a July deadline (there was) but the August one is now the final one (it won’t be).

“Today, we’re doing copper,” Trump said during a Cabinet meeting. “I believe the tariff on copper, we’re going to make it 50%.”

Selling them when they’re ready. If I was him I would have avoided soybeans this year but he wasn’t/isn’t concerned about it.

Trump, asked at the White House Monday night if the deadline was absolute, told reporters it was "firm but not 100% firm," depending on the kinds of offers countries made.

Everything I'm hearing from Wall St is that there is zero chance these tariffs happen.  He's just doing this for attention.

We might get a flat 10% tariff but these Aug 1 reciprocals are not happening and trump will cave again just like he did on liberation day.

While we wait for the Armageddon the financially illiterate predict....lets enjoy the improving economic situation in which we find ourselves and the ongoing improvement resulting from the leverage of tariff policy

bro said this is the worst economy anyone has seen in their lifetime a year ago.  Now nothing has changed (except which old guy sits in the WH) but it's an ongoing improvement now.

More proof RLLD has zero credibility.

So there weren’t huge spikes in inflation a few years ago?

And bro's stand by that assertion, especially given the way those people voted.   But hey, continue to ignore them and their reality. It only ensures Democrats lose more elections. And lets be real, its not like you have shown much aptitude in the area of economics.

Of course there were, and  then we've had the past 2 years pretty stable, under 4% and then under 3%.

Are you also saying that was the worst economy anyone has ever seen?

I’d say it’s the worst in recent memory, I guess since the 70’s. That inflation that soared to record numbers, those prices come down?

He seems like a nice guy to me but unfortunately he doesn’t seem to understand economics whatsoever.

You know when prices did come down? 2008.  That's when 9M people lost their jobs, unemployment was 10%.  Housing markets crashed.   People were underwater, couldn't work.  But you had your govt job so you didn't care.  You only got concerned when you had to pay a little extra for little debbies.

Or Covid, when Trump saw 22M people lose their jobs.  At least they came back quickly thanks to Biden.

When things work out in Trump's favor as they normally do,  the timmies will start whining about something else and forget about this completely.

Trump took his father’s small real estate business and turned it into an empire. Tim took his father’s small real estate business and farmed out the work and took nice vacations. Mr. Economist.

They never try to appeal to the normals. The intelligent hard working people. They blindly just call us dangerous. Their whole gig is keeping their base while targeting kids and minorities by telling them that the normals are going to abuse them while the liberals are going to give them things.

Costs are definitely not UP.  The last few times I've shopped for groceries several of the items I've bought have had significant price reductions; were talking a dollar or more on $4 items.  Will we get back to the prices before Biden focked everything up?  Probably not.  But seeing some level of reduction is encouraging.

The Labor Dept. says consumer prices are up overall sonce January and we still have a sustained positive inflation rate. So yes, prices are up.

Not down, like Grifter Don said they would be. :(
