2 & Half Years Of Sobriety Down The Drain

Thanks Man!

Falling off the wagon into Miller Lite aint no big deal bro. It's the wacky AA people that turned life into a religion.  Tomorrow you can do whatever you want, just don't make it a bottle you can't crawl out of.

Sounds like the plan for tonight. Got Little Caesars to soak up the alcohol later.

Taco Bell is better.

I saw a guy in Food City today load up a cart with 10 - 30 packs of Natural Light.  He was at least 75 years old.  Christmas party maybe, I should have asked him what's up. If anything Light beer makes you live longer.

2.5 years still intact imo.

That sounds like a Warren Zevon song lyrics.

I'm having some Focking beers and had to put my dog to sleep yesterday.

Oh man so sorry to hear this but know that you did right by your dog. Our last dog we had to put to sleep hit me harder than when my parents passed. Dogs are so vulnerable and the unconditional love they give is a true gift.

Thanks Man and agree 100% of everything you said! Why I'm taking it so hard and was so close to the dog as well.

Dude, don't walk into a shelter.  Or even a boarding place around here.  Saw a 7 year old gorgeous coon dog, named Luitenant Dan.  Fok, might have to go save him for x-mas.

Celebrate the life dude. I get it if you wife or kid dies at a young age, but if your dog or even your own dad dies of old age, that's perfectly natural and cool. My dad died in his 90s and I was glad he went out the way he would have wished. It was his time and he was ready.

I have two boxers. Enjoy your drinks while remembering them and then start over. Drinking isn’t worth it. So many downsides to counter the positives.
you’ve got this, brother

Nothing short of self-immolation will do it, seeing as Peefoam is as useless as ice trays in hell.

To late and dang sh!t is already burning my stomach. will just be a once a month or so thing.

Have your beers and enjoy them.   Then start over.  My BIL quit 10 years ago and designates 1 day a month to drink and then starts over.  Enjoys it way more.

Start focusing on getting stoned and quit the brew. Taco Bell is a great place when you hear the bong…

Sorry about your dog. I understand that can be a difficult thing to do.

As you reset your sobriety clock take the one more day mindset. When you have a difficult day like yesterday. Tell yourself you will have a drink tomorrow.  If you still need that drink the next day have at it, but give yourself one more day.

398 days for me.

I'm not Hunter Biden.

You don't need to be. You can just party like him. Your sobriety is none of my business, but I've found the proper mix of booze, weed, and coke to be a wonderful way to spend an evening. YMMV.

Sorry to hear about your dog, man. That sucks. The little bastards just weasel their way into our families and hearts. My dog is getting older too.

I am so sorry.

I am sorry that you had to put your pup down, they truly are our family members.

I had 3 years of sobriety that went down the drain summer of 2022 after I'd been hospitalized with sepsis and my mom started having strokes (she's been on hospice for a year and my sobriety hasn't returned).

Hang in there, sending you lots of ((hugs))
