Thank you for the response. I disagree. I think the Court that grew presidential immunity out of its elbow will either 1. Side with Trump, or 2. Delay things so long that it won’t matter.

For a person who seems otherwise quite intelligent, you just don't seem to get that immunity ruling.  I tried to explain it to you, but I don't recall your response.  If you think POTUS has blanket immunity, you are wrong.

But I'll tell you what: bookmark this post. Here are my predictions:

1. Trump will enact (even more) emergency declarations to attempt to affect the election, possible as soon as next year, or even before. As part of this effort, he will/is doing everything he can to limit democrat's voting power, like redrawing districts, military intervention, national control over polling places, etc.

2. He will continue to pursue the UNITARY EXECUTIVE THEORY, which has been well established as the operating principle for his second term. This is the goal: installation of the chief executive as a defacto king/emperor, except with elections. What could go wrong?

4. MAGA generally and Republicans in congress will continue to play dead as this thing gains momentum. All dissent will be more examples of "TDS." His most ardent supporters are already all about this. Bannon can't stop talking about it. Here's a hint: Bannon is the best source for Don's plans and actual thoughts. He says right now that we basically need to get used to the idea of Trump in a 3rd term. Like SID says: who will stop him? The FBI? DOJ? Any other agency or org that isn't under Don's direct control under the UNITARY EXECUTIVE THEORY has no recourse to prevent it.

5. Just like in 2020, he will not go without violence being perpetrated on his behalf.

Look over that list closely and tell me any of it is far fetched. All of it is in motion currently. Let's take a look at my list after the first of the year in 2029. @Strike and some of the other MAGA folks can pile on like pigs in slop if my predictions are wrong. I will join you in making fun of my paranoid delusions and rampant TDS and breathe many sighs of relief at how wrong and gullible I was. 

But what will you say if I'm right? Another prediction: Not a damn thing. Because by then, you'll be supporting this garbage openly, as opposed to just quietly wishing for it today.

In a word, he is lacking charisma. Vance is not particularly likeable IMO (I don't think Trump is either but that isn't why people voted for him).

I don't think I agreed with Charlie Kirk on much of anything, but he was somewhat personable and had he lived would have been formidable opposition to Vance in open primaries.
