Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles Nick Sirianni with multi-year contract extension.

Two trips to the SB, one chip, 4 straight playoff appearances and a 48-20 record in 4 years.

Well deserved. :first:

When do we start the Jalen Hurts Hall of Fame chatter?

He's only 26 years old, already has 2 Superbowl appearances, outplayed Mahomes in both, won 1 Superbowl and has a Superbowl MVP.

One more Superbowl appearance and he's a lock.

I’m going to try and get some DK Metcalf this year. He’s 6’4 225.

Jalen Ramsey and Jonnu Smith from Dolphins to Steelers for Minkah Fitzpatrick and a fifth.  Ramsey wears out his welcome once again.

Minkah was a shell of himself last season , closer to two seasons and the Steelers weren’t going to resign-sign him. Arthur Smith loves him some Jonnu

I don’t get the Steelers at all.

I dont either.  If you are going to trade Minkah why not trade for building a future not a 30 year old CB.  They must really think they have some sort of chance this season.

They will be looking for a QB next season while sitting at the 18th pick.

Same. They make some of the dumbest moves.

Early prognosis is that Brett Veach nailed another draft.   They let us get our franchise, bookend LT with the last pick of the first round.   Yall focked up.   It's about to be on

Landon Dickerson, Pro Bowl Guard of the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles, believed to have a partly torn meniscus in practice.

Hopefully nothing big. He’s a beast. 🦅

Does the bears defense suck? Or is Pat and crew going to average 38 points per game?

Seattle should rebuild. They’re stuck in the same holding pattern as Pittsburgh.

I was obviously 100% wrong. I thought Darnold’s turnaround in Minny was a flash in the pan and Seattle would regret signing him. They’re obviously far better than expected and put him in the right system surrounded by a much improved OL and weapons.

Mea culpa. I hope they win it all.

I understand Texans have some big contracts coming up.   But didnt they have issues blocking for Stroud?  Seems wild to trade Tunsil.  They also traded Kenyon Green who wasnt panning out but still.  Seems like a wild thing to do.

I know they drafted that ND tackle a year or 2 ago.  Maybe they have decsnt replacements on their roster.  But trading one of the best LTs in the league when you have protection issues for your young QB who is about to be paid is certainly a choice.

should have listened to you

Word is Wilson if they don’t get AR. I’d prefer Winston or Mariotta but they have to get someone or Tennessee holds a gun to their head to move up. I’d like Carter and move up to get Dart.

I was actually searching geno to see who might have had an awful take about them letting him walk and this is the closest thing I could find :)

Minny should have just re-signed him and let McCarthy  ride the bench.

I agree.  A franchise like Jacksonville....young GM....is he brand new?  They want to make an big shiny pick more than some other franchises.  Thats not saying Hunter wont be good or was worth going that high.  Not sure what their needs are exactly.   But lets say they really needed pass rush for thr sake.  Would they make that moce up for Carter?  Big time player but not nearly as exciting/shiny as Hunter.

I dont have that much issue with what they did.  Especially because I think he will be real good.  (I doubt he can play a ton on both sides in the nfl).  But im just rarely loving moving up like that for a non QB.

Maybe their 1st next year would bust.  Who knows.  But Jags arent a Hunter away from anything.  They sorta need their 1sts in order to bolster their roster to compete.

Jags had more in the bag than I thought.  Their coach with that Duval thing at the pressers was concerning but apparently he can grab a lockerroom and coach.

It is pretty wild what landing a good coach does for a QB sometimes.  Unless you get a lifetime pass by winning multiple SBs early in the tenure, I feel coaching leashes are going to get shorter anf shorter.

with a 03.125% chance of winning the Super Bowl, not figuring factors such as roster constraints, schedule, etc.  The vast majority of teams end the season hoping for better success the following year.
