When the hell is this global warming you liberals all promised us going to kick in?

"I'm doing okay but I can see and understand why others will be hurt by policy x" is called having empathy for someone else. It's okay to have that...makes someone a human being.....and not a drooling message board troll who wears a helmet throughout the day

The empathy that people had when we talked about grocery prices and y'all told us to to quit buying lattes?

Takeaways

But it's been seen prior to that?  So it has happened and isn't new?

In 1980 it was global cooling that was all the craze. Scientists said so.And where's the "man made" scientific part?

You should stop buying lattes.

Switch to cappuccino, all the milk in lattes dilute Expresso taste.

Where did I say that?

And TBF- someone complaining about grocery prices but spending extra money on coffee- is quite a bit different.

Which ones don’t support it? Stop speaking so vaguely

I'm telling you that does not enter my equation for voting. I have plenty of other issues I worry about long before transgender issues. What I'm saying is a candidate- regardless of party- has positions on hundreds of issues...some I agree with, some I don't. I'm sorry you only vote for the letter behind the name

All you liberal dopes say the same thing and yet you ALWAYS vote for the 'D'.

You are really stupid to try to pull this crap.

Average car was 3542 and the average median family income was 8,730 dollars. That means the price of a new car was ~40% of your income.

Today the median household income is 75,580 dollars. Average price of a new car today is 48,641 dollars. That means the price of a new car is ~64% of your income.

Now based on inflation the 8730 in household income in 1970 would be equal to roughly 74,000 today. So we are good there. The average price of 3542 for a car would be the equivalent of 29,000 today. That's where the problem lies.

Decade as of global warming trends don’t mean anything, but climate change isn’t real because of a cold snap in April.

Geek Logic. :first:

I don't doubt that the premise of their argument is valid, I just think the extent of their fear is full blown retardation.  If it really was an issue, then why are all of these climate change activists flying around the world in their private jets all the time, telling us to buy electric?  Then, why is reducing government waste a bigger issue than climate change, where we need to terrorize electric vehicles?

This really must be really something 40 years after "scientists" were crying about global cooling "trends"

So does it not enter your equation or do you vote for candidates that don’t support it? You’re just talking out of your azz like always

What he's saying is that he's going to vote for the person who promotes a far left-wing ideology as a whole, and the political party of that person doesn't matter.  Oh, and that all of the specifics in that ideology don't concern him, just some.

All the while, calling you out for only voting Republican.

Have you ever voted against a candidate because they support it? That’s what I thought

What changed is that simpletons used to admit they were dumb, and that was fine. Now, everyone thinks they're a google search away from being an expert. That's what happens when you elect the dumbest people and gullibly defend them on every position like a cuck.

Stay in your lane, dopes. HTH.

I get it- you just vote for the "R" letter. Don't lump others into your simplistic view of voting.

Yeah, liberal run companies don't try to maximize profits.

Exactly, they do. As do conservative led companies. They don't give a damn about political or online fear mongering.

Off course these companies care about the irrational fears of the American public. Do you really need examples?

My state - again a deep red state - has had like a dozen insurance companies go out of business. Florida is similar. I don’t think they’re extinguishing themselves to placate the woke.

The Earth’s climate has been changing for over 5 billion years.

Anyone who believes eliminating fossil fuels will lower the temperature of the earth is a fool.

Do you know how many businesses go out of business yearly for whatever reasons? It has been going on since the beginning of business. Just go look at the restaurant industry.

Hey you know what, you're right. My bad, the insurance industry on the Gulf Coast is fine. The weather is normal. Thanks for informing me.

The weather is never "normal". Never has been. Ever. There are always aberrations from what was expected. So much so that if we ever had a normal season, THAT in itself was an aberration.

Since I was born, I've been in countless weather shltstorms that were unexpected. Unexpected snow storms, tornados, floods, hurricanes, droughts, heat and cold. But here you are, fear mongering weather of all things.

We don't even recycle in my county. "Due to market conditions no recycling until further notice"

You can get all the free plastic bags you want at the grocery store.

It's marvelous.
