Dem immigration talking points fizzle as dark picture of Abrego Garcia emerges

Recommended Posts

Dumb ass liberals...

Democrats rallying around illegal immigrant KIlmar Abrego Garcia are facing a narrative reckoning as allegations of violent and criminal behavior mount against the man they made a poster child in the fight against President Trump's mass deportations.

In recent weeks, evidence has emerged that Abrego Garcia beat his wife and was caught trafficking migrants during his time living illegally in Maryland. He has since been deported to El Salvador, where several Democrats, including Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen, have rushed to meet with him and decry what they say was a lack of due process extended to him.

"The fact that they went to the mat for this guy just shows exactly who they are," Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said on "Fox & Friends Weekend" on Saturday. "That they are people who don't put America first. They don't care about our citizens and protecting our communities. So, I'm glad that the onion's been peeled back and that their true motivations have been revealed, and this is just one of the cases that we're getting off the streets."

Van Hollen has led the surge of Democrats traveling to El Salvador since April, after Abrego Garcia was deported to the country in March and sent to its notoriously high-security prison equipped to handle violent gang members, known as CECOT. The Trump administration has repeatedly cited court and police documents showing that the El Salvadoran man was not only in the U.S. illegally, but also connected to the MS-13 gang and that his wife had sounded the alarm to police about his violence.

Democrats and the media had characterized Abrego Garcia as a "family man" and a "Maryland man" who was wrongly deported back in March and the following weeks.

Van Hollen met last month with Abrego Garcia and advocated for his release, declaring that the deportation risks "the constitutional rights of everyone who resides in the United States of America." Van Hollen's trip sparked other left-wing lawmakers to also make the trip south, including Reps. Yassamin Ansari of Arizona, Maxine Dexter of Oregon, Maxwell Frost of Florida and Robert Garcia of California last month. At one point, Dexter pledged to remain in El Salvador until Abrego Garcia was brought back to the U.S.

Due process is whatever you say it is.  Like giving “asylum” seekers court dates years away. You think that’s due process?

dude was on the removal list

he got due process

our constitution needs to be re-written

due process and constitutional law only applies if you enter the nation with due process

that would shut you libs up with your nonsense

where were your due process cries when obama did it?  I guarantee everyone on the right was ecstatic about it.  This MS13 gang banger got more due process than any of them

Feel free to push for this if you wish and see how far you get with it.

In the meantime we need to abide by the Constitution as written and interpreted by the Supreme Court.

You don't have a clue about what you are talking about. And everyone knows this.

So stop embarrassing yourself.

In the Supreme Court repudiates Trump thread, I mentioned that the Admin and Fox News is pushing a narrative. It not surprising to see that they are doing it again. There is not one new piece of information in that article. And still nothing backing up that he is MS-13. Just more pushing the same narrative over and over.

Hilariously this thread was directed at the libs on the board and not the people who create the same posts over and over.

Golly, they’re interrogating him & seeking to leverage an indictment to extract his knowledge of MS-13 workings & leadership, right?

Right?

Trump ICE released him per a judge’s order in 2019.

DOJ has done nothing to find out what he knows about MS-13.

Of course it’s not your problem. You didn’t take an oath. Meanwhile there is no investigation into who were the criminals he did the trafficking with or who he trafficked.

Actually yes DOJ publishes such things, & they go into court records. What’s astonishing to me is there is no desire to investigate or prosecute the actual supposed crime rings he was in, MS13 & the trafficking.

This is an extremely soft idea of law enforcement. It makes liberals look like Elliot Ness. Btw obviously others with knowledge of the inner workings & crimes in progress of MS13 & other transnational gangs will want to stay clear of DOJ & FBI. Confidential informants are probably already disappeared. It’s actually helpful to MS13 & gangs like it.

He’s not a citizen. Immigration actions don’t require the same level of due process that criminal charges do. Fin’

They did not release him "per a judge's order" in 2019.  The order only said they couldn't deport him to El Salvador.  It did not mandate his release.  They chose to release him, as administration's have done with millions of illegals for various reasons over time.  But the release was not per a judge's order.  The judge did not say they had to release him.  Why do you constantly LIE?  You're as bad as @The Real timschochet

I think @supermike80 said it wasn't necessarily about posts on the board, just every thing in general is about TRUMP. On my local news, it's reports of crime (shootings, stabbings), weather, and then there is an entire section on Trump. It's very tiring.

yeah, I don't think he is MS13, maybe. the tats thing seems silly, i would expect way more backup available related to this if it was a viable fact. how about 1 other member with these tats, or something very close. the human trafficking thing is quite ridiculous as well..the cop that made that claim(on whatever level, I can't remember the particulars here) let them go that day. you think if he is human trafficking, they let him go? And the wife, the one who is making pleas for his return?  and so we are clear, I am not going to bat for this guy. I am chatting on our low rent message board..its in its own way a strange case.

Our judicial system ruled he WAS MS-13.  What you "think" doesn't matter legally.  Now you're opposed to the rule of law?   Until the judicial system rules he is not MS-13 he should be considered MS-13.  It's funny because no one has even filed a motion with the courts to overturn that finding.  But as a rule of law, he was found to be MS-13.

Our judicial system ALSO ruled that the MS13 evidence was lacking and that he could not be deported to El Salvador.  He was given a work permit, joined a union, had a wife and kids and was never charged with any crimes.  Our Supreme Court has ruled that his return should be facilitated.  Trump has said he doesn't need to listen to the Supreme Court nor follow the constitution.

I'm speaking facts and proving you wrong.  Instead of having any kind of truth based debate which you are incapable of, you go for the personal attack.  On brand for you.

I thought he couldn’t be sent to El Salvador out of fear that a rival gang was after him?

No, you're not.  And the SC did not rule that he should be returned.  So, your "facts" are wrong.  How many times have you been banned now?   And why is it a personal attack to bring up the fact that you were banned?  That's not an attack.  That's a FACT.  Now you're opposed to FACTS?  Make up your mind.

Nope.  He couldn't be sent to El Salvador due to gang threats, not rival gang.  There was a gang that threatened his mother that they were going to take him, which is why he fled.

Your opinions dont really matter. The dude agreed to be deported. The only stipulation was he couldn’t goto El Salvador due to a Venezuelan gang that was a threat to him allegedly. That gang no longer exists.

as far as his wife she seems scared every time she talks. Ms13 probably threatening her

as far as trafficking. Law enforcement let illegals go every single day that did it. And they knew what was going on.

The SC ruled that we should facilitate his return.

The Supreme Court has ordered the Trump administration to "facilitate" the return to the United States of Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, a Maryland man who was mistakenly taken to El Salvador and remains in custody there.

In a brief, unsigned decision issued Thursday, the court sided with a District Court judge who had ordered Abrego Garcia brought back to the U.S.
