Trump sent in NG troops.  Newsom and Bass cried like babies because they were forced to then do their jobs and put down the riots before they grew like they usually do.

Exactly. Every other riot in LA in our lifetime turned into a disaster because LA leadership let it go to shiot.  This is the first time I can remember that they stopped one, and it just happened to be when they didn't want Trump to take the credit.

Also, Squissy doesn't live in the city of LA, let alone downtown LA in Riot Central.

The moment when someone throws ANYTHING, even just spit or water, it AUTOMATICALLY turns into a riot. Especially when it’s MULTIPLE ppl throwing bricks, rocks, Molotov cocktails, fireworks, etc. Hell, they even killed a police dog I was fine with them protesting & shutting down roads/freeways and whatnot. But when I saw Kobe & Gigi’s mural defaced? That’s when I knew these ppl were focking psychos who were just going to cause destruction & not promote their cause

The op was clearly a clusterfūck since they didn't even verify the guy was home which screams lack of resources, but yeah law enforcement likes to do a bunch of unnecessary shìt.  I suppose the reason is if the suspect is crazy enough to ram a border patrol car, they have to assume he won't go quietly.

My 30 seconds spent reading the story left with the perception that they let him go because the situation might've escalated with the citizens breaching the perimeter
