I was wrong.  I'm man enough to admit I'm wrong unlike you.

When I'm wrong I admit it.  I am just smart enough to verify my facts before making assertions.  As in this case.  I did a pretty extensive search trying to verify his arrest before calling you out.  I found multiple sources, including The Hill and Politico, all describing it as him being removed/detained.  And those are legal things that police do all the time, that may include being handcuffed.  The question is why YOU didn't do similar "homework" before making an easily confirmed false assertion.

Sure would be nice to see what happened before the scuffle broke out. Why can't I find anything about that?

ETA: looks as though he "aggressively approached Noem without having Senate Security pin on" or somesuch. He ultimately identified himself, but by then he was being forcibly removed.

You said yesterday that no one posted objection to violence and I showed you two examples.  You never admitted you were wrong.  Now is your chance.

Because those are objections in the middle of multiple hosts justifying the violence.  I even posted one of YOUR posts, from BEFORE you posted a tepid objection to the violence, showing your approval of it.   So GTFO of here with your CYA "objections" to violence.  No one here believes you are actually opposed to these riots.  You throw in a random post saying such in the middle of 50 justifying the violence.

No one here is in favor of or supports the violence connected with these protests. No one. But we keep hearing that same false narrative being repeated again and again.

See this is what I'm talking about, you will never admit when you are wrong.  Not a man.

This is a load of crap.  Go to the very first page of THIS VERY THREAD.  Not ONE lib is condemning the violence/rioting/looting.

Violence is not the answer but neither is this.

Two posts condemning the violence.  You said there were none.

One more chance to admit you were wrong, Go.  Let's see what kind of a man you are.

Another lie.  Show me any of my posts where I say I approve of the violence.  Go.

Anyone smell TACOs?

Our great Farmers and people in the Hotel and Leisure business have been stating that our very aggressive policy on immigration is taking very good, long time workers away from them, with those jobs being almost impossible to replace. In many cases the Criminals allowed into our Country by the VERY Stupid Biden Open Borders Policy are applying for those jobs. This is not good. We must protect our Farmers, but get the CRIMINALS OUT OF THE USA. Changes are coming!

Great news for everyone.

Probably just learned that without immigrants a McNugget shortage could be on the horizon.

DHS accusing Padilla of “political theater” is pretty rich considering Noem has spent the majority of her time doing photo shoots.

At least she’s hot though

It was political theater.  He burst in to the room, not wearing the identifying pin that apparently they have to, you know, identify themselves as members of congress, and tried to rush towards the stage.  He was rightfully prevented from doing so and removed.  She has no issues meeting with him, as she did after her press conference, and addressing any questions/concerns he may have.  He had no reason to try to hijack a press conference other than to manufacture another crisis and generate headlines.  So, mission accomplished, but any reasonable center right person would understand that this was a political stunt.

If that’s what they do to a United States Senator with a question, imagine what they do to farm workers, day laborers, cooks, and the other nonviolent immigrants they are targeting in California and across the country. Or any American that dares to speak up.

I will not stop fighting to demand accountability on behalf of the people of California.

Is there video of him “bursting into the room”?

Don't know.  In the video I saw he is already in the room, trying to push past security.  What I described above is what the government has said happened, and is consistent with the video I saw other than seeing how he got in to the room.  I have no reason to believe they're not being forthcoming.

It's consistent with the video.  And no one who was there has disputed that chain of events.  I mean, it was a public news conference.  Do you have any evidence refuting YOUR government?

What happened to Padilla should happen to every person who advocates for child gender transition surgeries and drugs.

It should also happen to every advocate for endangering females by introducing males into their sports and locker rooms.

Padilla was looking for attention.  He sought to get that attention by ignoring all norms and protocols of his profession.  He presented as a potential threat.  He was stopped.  He then claimed the sanctity of his Office by identifying himself verbally.  His actions being wholly inconsistent with his self identification Secret Service and FBI did not take him at his word, after all he was not wearing his identification nor acting Senatorially.  Secret Service and FBI don't take potential risks at their word, its pretty much their job discription to not do so. They secured the unknown person until they identified him.  Then they let him go.  He played the buffoon because he was looking for attention and he did not think things through.  He wanted to usurp the forum of another for his own goals.  He got closed down, appropriately.  His whining and attempts to redefine the incident are pathetic.  He emasculated himself. Those trying to defend his conduct emasculate themselves. Sometimes you just have to take the loss and move on.

What's funny is people are so outraged that a senator is somehow above being handcuffed. Liberals, I hope you can agree that we should be seeing more politicians in cuffs. Most of them are crooks.

I want all of the degenerate republicans in prison as well. Every last bad apple. Gone forever.

The video gives no indication of how he entered.

Here’s the best angle I’ve seen so far.  Of course this dummy is trying to claim this backs up your opinion, but while he got near the front of the room, he is not moving any more forward when he starts talking and then is pushed by security.  Also, Noem looks right at him then looks back at her paper and keeps talking as if nothing happened.  Not the reaction I’d expect if someone had just “burst into the room.”
