It's a talking point of the right.  They say it all the time.  "The left normalized violence", it's all over foxnews and RT.  Nobody just repeats what he hears.

As if 2020 was the first riot in America.  The level of stupidity to believe something like this.

I don't watch Fox News and I don't even know what RT is.

2020 was the first time local government stood down to allow riots for political gain.  That's the precedent.  You just refuse to see it.

Clownzo is using some obscure law to send in National Guard troops, something that hasn't happened in more 60 years. The last time was when J.F.K. sent troops in to desegregate the University of Alabama.

State and local officials had things under control, and this use of troops will only make things worse, and the Clownzo collective is loving it.

Shameful.

What local governments stood down to allow riots to happen for political gain?

Seattle and Minneapolis were the biggest offenders.  Kinosha led directly to the Rittenhouse situation.  Don Lemon even got on TV to urge they stop when public sentiment started turning to f the Dems for letting this happen and magically all the riots ended in 2 days.

The way it works with federal involvement starts with city, county, state and THEN federal resources.

That's how it works with FEMA as well. FEMA doesn't kick in until all local resources have been spent.

That's not the case in Los Angeles. The rioting had nowhere near elevated to the point of needing federal resources, and the only reason Trump did it was to make a big show of it.

I'm sure it's going to get all better there any minute!

MAGAs turn a burning car into a burning city, but then the violence escalated, and I'm not playing that down.

MAGAs are so dumb.

They didn't stand down. There were over 14,000 arrests.

From a Google search:

By the end of June 2020, at least 14,000 people were arrested in connection with the George Floyd protests across the United States, according to a Washington Post analysis. Some reports indicate that the number of arrests was even higher, with one report suggesting over 10,000 arrests in the early stages of the protests.

I thought you would have brought up Portland which was piss poor management.  Minneapolis for one didn't stand down, they were just slow to react.  I think you're mistaking incompetence for malice which is a common trait of kooks.  Same with Kinosha.

If you want to provide any examples of local govt standing down and letting the riots happen so they can benefit, go right ahead.

I like how the wokies keep bringing up jan 6th like it's some gotcha.  1/6 was clearly in response to the George Floyd riots.  Wokies allowed the weaponization of protests.  It reaped 1/6.

What we learned during the summer of love when lest we forget where two city blocks were intended to be taken over as an "autonomous zone" was that local government can't be trusted to police their districts.  This means two things ... no gun control ever.  And this means fair game for feds to step in.

2020 Summer People, 1/6 Patriots, People this weekend the ALL should be hanging from the scaffolds....but Trump and MAGA have escalated the acceptance of bad behavior even more by giving the 1/6ers a pardon from the Highest Office in the Land.

The summer of lovers didn't even get arrested to get pardoned for the most part, and the few that did got bailed out immediately by bail funds contributed to by lefty politicians, but I guess they didn't move podiums.  They just burned and looted businesses, so I guess that makes sense.

Are you talking about Seattle now?  Again I can see this argument where they essentially gave up blocks to protestors for autonomous zones and agree that this was stupid.  What did they gain politically by doing this?

and then how did Seattle influence Trump and the rioters on Jan 6?  You're saying they thought that the capitol police would just let them take over because it happened in Seattle 6 months earlier?

There were tens of thousands of arrests nationwide.  You're wrong.

Source: https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2020/investigations/george-floyd-protesters-arrests

In the first two weeks, police arrested more than 17,000 people in the 50 largest cities that had organized protests, according to a Post survey of news releases, arrest reports and aggregate data provided by police.

Yes, 6 months vs. 4 years is a big difference in the impact of one event on the other.  Do I really need to explain this?

You're either for law and order...or against it.  I have no problem buring every law breaker down. MAGA and Trump do to...except when those people breaking the law are furthering their political agenda.  Then, they just pardon them.

When Mexican Flag Bike Rider and Car Burning Chollo get pardons from whichever Democrat is in the Oval Office...don't come whining about it.

Yes please.  You're saying that what happened in Seattle 6 months earlier led the Jan 6 rioters to believe that nothing would happen to them by attacking the Capitol?

I've said on this very site I thought the J6 trespassers should've been mowed down.  If the play is to act like I have a double standard, I don't.

Man you are stoopid and clueless. So the national guard wasn’t brought in during the days and months following hurricane Katrina here in New Orleans??? Hmmm. I guess they were figments of our imagination.

And it’s on the books here as I’ve told the story about my father who was in the army working in the Special Investigation unit for the army and started out as an MP. He worked  the Selma detail protecting and escort all four everyday 24/7. They we4e also used Mississippi for the same assignment. After an Edgar Evan’s was assanated. You go play with your legos and Malibu Ken Doll now..

Like I said, that's a really stupid thing to say.  Jan 6 had nothing to do with Donald Trump telling everyone to show up at the Capitol, nothing to do with telling everyone that the election was stolen, nothing to do with Donald telling them to fight like hell or they wouldn't have a country left anymore, and nothing to do with Trump telling them that he'll be there with them before he split and watched the carnage on TV.  Instead, these people watched what happened in Seattle and thought they could do the same thing to the Capitol for sh1ts and giggles. That's what you believe.  You are a very stupid person.

This dude still thinks people in costumes walking around the capitol taking selfies is an insurrection because they broke windows, climbed a wall and had what? a dozen altercations with police?

And I read the Trump quotes from that day the first hundred times this was brought up.  He didn't call for storming the capitol.  He specifically said be peaceful.  You're falling for wokie spin and you love it and want more.  You're probably one of the last 20 percent that even still believes it.  Take away the MAGAs and still most sane people saw what happened and shrugged.  If the 60% in the middle thought that was a real threat, Trump would've fried.

Keep in mind they tried to hang Trump for paying hush money to a porn star and exaggerating on a loan application that the bank said they didn't even care about.  Don't you think if there was anything legitimate showing he invited a riot, they'd have prosecuted him for that too?

You're listening too much to the opinions of the news you follow.  You have to discern what is factual and extract only that.  Then form your own opinion.  I know that is tough these days given everything is out of context.  That's why I stick to CNBC.  They get hushed quick the second they start getting political.  The only opinions you get are if the market might go up or down and speculation on why it might be happening, and even those aren't overly abundant since no one wants to be wrong.  Gotta love how getting people's money involved makes all this other fluff go away.

And yes.  Of course, the MAGAs saw people getting away with riots for 4 years over absolutely retarded reasons and thought they could do it too.  Of course they did.  You're a very stupid person if you don't know that.

I saw you say it's a talking point on the news.  I hope it is.  They need to make sure everyone understands that.
