Movie: Sinners

Recommended Posts

Any of you guys see this one? I wasn't expecting it to be horror until I watched the full trailer.

I loved it. Acting was VERY well done and the overall story line kept me interested. Loved the ending.

April 2025.

Stars Michael B Jordan.

Is there something horror-wise that it is similar to?  If anything?

It's streaming, we just watched it this weekend.

Why wouldn't you go see it in a theater?

In my experience, African american women are extremely vocal and loud in movie theaters. Its too distracting for me

Prime I believe.

However, I think it's also on Apple Plus.

Thanks. I'll keep it to memory.

Anything else anyone's seen lately they highly recommend?

Against my better judgement I watched Alto Kings. Besides being a lunatic now, it’s pretty obvious that DeNiro is just cashing checks. Awful.

Both in theaters, but new MI and Ballerina were good.

MI:8  (or whatever number it is) is really good. I am not a huge fan of Tom Cruise or the MI movies, but this one was good. Action for the full two hours and 49 minutes. The theater was PACKED. Most people I've seen in a theater since COVID.

Ballerina/John Wick: Also really good. Tons of action, a few cameos from Mr Wick.

Clown in a Cornfield: Usual gore/horror with a clown. Interesting twist, but decent campy kind of horror if you're into that.
