No Kings Day sets U.S. protest record.

“Based on hundreds of crowd-sourced records of No Kings Day event turnout, and extrapolating for the cities where we don’t have data yet, it looks like roughly 4-6m people protested Trump across the U.S. yesterday,” independent data journalist G Elliott posted to X Sunday.

1) The protesters were predominantly college kids who major in gender studies and French Lit who need something to do because they can't get internships.

2) Protests are funded by progressive/anarchic NGOs

3) The purpose of the protests is to keep people busy

4) NGOs are ramping up their protest dollars because they are losing govt grants

5) The purpose of the protests is to grift off people like me and get them to donate to them

Let's start with these 5.

I haven’t followed your whole back and forth here @jerryskids but also curious of your responses to 2-5

He's still trying to take a win on #1 despite acknowledging that he was wrong.

I wouldn't expect him to attempt 2-5 any time soon.

We aren’t six months into his term. Sad. Gutter and Rusty are about to spend 3 1/2 years doing this.  And then some.

My position remains, they would vote for Trump because Biden had created the worse financial situation of their lifetime, and the fun part is....the demographics bear it out. I am grateful for the morons who refused to accept or see it. We needed those votes.

This page lists every nonprofit for which we currently have a reconstructed flow of federal grant money to entities involved in the NoKings demonstration of 14 June 2025. Click “See Federal Grant Flow” to view the full interactive Sankey diagram for any organization.
Note: The list is not exhaustive; additional nonprofits will appear as more filings are processed.

I can't speak to the accuracy, but click into a few of the companies in this link.  Somebody spent a lot of time and effort on this.

So you're admitting that it's much much more than what you described yet say you were still correct and use a youtube video of one college student at a different protest as your source?

Different protest?  My post was about all of the summer protests.  Reading is fundamental:

Quote

Ah, protest season... the weather is nice, and college kids are out of school.  The ones who major in things like gender studies and French literature don't have internships, so they need something to do.  Thankfully, a bunch of progressive, anarchic NGOs organize and fund protests against... whatever, doesn't matter, the omnicause$#@! to keep them busy and feeling like they are contributing to society.

I expect a lot of such "organic"  protests this summer.  The gubment money spigot is turning off on these NGOs, and they need to create a feeling of chaos and despair to goad caring people like Gutter to donate to their worthwhile cause.

Still 2-0

The thread is about the No Kings protests.  You want to show me where any of these NGOs are promoting anarchy?

Again, RIF.  I said anarchic, not anarchy.  Here are some synonyms:

Quote

criminal

illicit

disorderly

illegal

felonious

lawless

unruly

unlawful

defiant

mutinous

lawbreaking

rebellious

riotous

insubordinate

undisciplined

wrongful

refractory

disobedient

intractable

recalcitrant

illegitimate

https://www.merriam-webster.com/thesaurus/anarchic

I bolded a few -- unruly, rebellious, riotous -- which certainly apply to groups which helped organize things, particularly in LA with their face masks:

The NGOs do not promote those values.  They do not promote rioting.  We didn't see any riots on No Kings Day.  If you meant to post this in the LA riots thread then you are mistaken.

#3:  Like #1, this is an opinion.  You clearly can't identify facts.

That being said, I worded that poorly.  I meant to imply that people participate because they have nothing better to do (a continuation of the jobless college kid theme), not that the NGOs are trying to keep them busy.

I'll split the point.  Jerry 2.5, Gutter 0.5

The richest man in the world was part of this administrations election campaign and staff. You talk about Big Pharma and Coporations donating to Liberal candidates...how much money was/is in Trumps Cabinet and positions of prominence?

WHATABOUT

You, not surprisingly, completely missed the point of my post. Liberals genuinely think their candidates are morally better than Trump or any conservative candidate. L. O. L. You have been fooled again, and like all of my great questions, liberals cannot answer it.

The Democrat Party has become the party of the wealthy and those facts cannot be denied:

  • 65% of Americans who make over 500K a  year are Democrats
  • 9 of the 10 richest Counties in America all vote Democrat
  • 75% of donations from Silicon Valley and Hedge funds are for Democrats
  • 95% of donations from the top 3 Management consulting firms are for Democrats
  • Wall Street picked Democrats for the last 3 election cycles
  • Democrats have more Billionaires in total than Republicans.  76 Billionaires came out in support of Kamala while only 49 came out in support of Trump

So when liberal cucks like ghey_artest, gas, zsazz, squidtard and many others come out and gaslight and lie about who "the rich" support, let's make sure we point out who "the rich" are actually supporting.

Democrats do not and never have had the moral high ground - or any high ground - for that matter.

WHATABOUT

See, they can never answer the tough ones. I never said Republicans aren't supported by the rich. Liberals have no clue who supports their candidates. Not surprising considering they were sure Kamala was going to win.

What do you want me to answer?  Of course there are rich Democrats.  But the maga terrorist party supports the elites.  They want to steal from the poor and give to the rich.  You can't deny that.

They need to go to Portland, no warnings given, and overwhelm the scum there. A battalion of Marines with support should do the trick.

The mean the assassin that voted for Trump?  The registered Republican?  The maga terrorist? With the hit list of all Democrats?  You're blaming that guy on the protest?  Human garbage.

Trump made them back down. As soon as they riot he takes full control.

Which he will do eventually anyway. That or force them to self regulate.

I am enjoying all of the liberals taking a victory lap on the 5 million people who wasted their weekend protesting. Because it doesn't change the fact that Trump is president and will still get the job done.

Keep thinking that little homie.

I live in L.A. and like most people here haven't seen any riots, it is a fiction. Yes, there were some vehicle fires and some looting in a two block area in Downtown L.A. (that ended once Karen Bass issued an evening curfew in that area).

You live in like Pasadena, probably Glendale given their recent reluctance to help federal agents enforce immigration law.

Big riot area typically, Pasadena?
