Should the president's physician be able able to claim client confidentiality?

Shouldn't the doctor report directly to the American people if the president is not of sound mind and body? It's public office.

And pleading the 5th? Should be instant jail time until he comes clean.

It involves national security in this case. I'm fine for all presidents to have to be held to this. If it's not a national security issue, then that's fine. I don't need to know if Biden can still get it up when he sees little kids.

I don’t understand why those that voted for trump want to remove more freedoms, No ones medical records should be mandatory to share.   But they voted for this

The president is a citizen and is protected by the constitution like anyone else, period. The mayor of NYC however isn’t and we should know all his medical records.

Funny, for once I am 100% with @seafoam1. (It may be the first and last time.) But while someone is President any serious health concerns should be public knowledge or at the very least the knowledge of the leaders of the Senate. 

It should be noted though that this has NOT been the case in history: the health concerns of FDR, Eisenhower, JFK, Reagan, and Biden were all hidden from the Senate and the public.

one of the questions asked was whether he was ever instructed to lie about Biden's health.  He took the 5th.  I don't see how that invades doctor/patient confidentiality.  We had people running our Country who shouldn't have been.

Yep. It's an open and shut case. I only hope they go after this guy and get the truth of it all.
