US inflation accelerated in June as Trump’s tariffs start to bite...

Trump's $3.5T in COVID spending had nothing to do with inflation

What a clown.

Clearly not....because Biden didnt bother to blame him for it.....in fact...he pretended it wasnt true....so you think.....Biden purposely avoided blaming Trump for it? Or....could it be true....that he lied about it happening...then lied about it being transitional.....because he knew he was to blame?

What seems more likely?

Again, people like you bought into the lie that it wasnt real or that it was transitional...because your ideological masters told you.....and here you are expecting anyone to take you seriously? Think about it....

a few things to point out here.

1) You're making a conclusion about economic policy based on the public words of a politician.  This is very childish.  It is widely accepted that the post covid inflation was caused by economic stimulus, supply chain disruptions, high energy prices and pent up demand.  This is the consensus of global economists and was a global phenomeon.

2) Anyone who ignores economic principles in favor of politicians is not a serious person.

3) Biden actually did blame Trump for inflation on several occasions.  Here is one: https://wpde.com/news/nation-world/biden-blames-inflation-on-trump-administration-it-was-already-there-when-i-got-here

If you're going to pretend to be knowledgeable about economics, do us all a favor and post some factual data.

I am making no conclusions on economic policy based on the words of a politician, this is a complete misrepresentation (lie) about that I posted.  Why are you lying about that?

Agree on the economic principles assertion, though your history suggests you know little about the topic.

Biden LATER did it because he could no longer lie about it, had to come up with a political way to deflect it, so later, he did in fact use the tactic....but not initially...why? Why wait? Why say it isnt happening, of its transitional, instead of just blaming the prior guy....which is what they all do....

I have brought all relevant data.  You are a sycophant to a political movement that harms people, sometimes even you, and yet you see protecting them as useful.  Its not, grow up.....

Ok then I will ask you again, do you think trump spending $3.5T on COVID relief had any impact on inflation?  And don't answer about Biden again, give me an answer based on economics if you can

Rlld just said it didn't, because if it did Biden would have blamed him for it

Also Biden spent less on COVID than trump so tell me how Biden's was worse?

I cannot discount it, but far more important to inflation was the assault on energy, which I asserted at the time was dangerous and would actually create the inflation we eventually saw, which was the truth.  Using the COVID funding element is disingenuous, and you know it.

Speaking of funding......the astronomic inflation that Biden caused, then pretended was transitional, and eventually would blame Trump for when politically useful.....pales in comparison to the damage he caused with the Inflation Reduction excrement...when it was obvious that should not go through......and lets not forget while the pyre was burning....he tried to toss more gas on later and only Manchin saved this nation from even worse.

Because it came when the vaccine was widely available meaning we were on our way out of the pandemic, and as you mentioned, there was pent up demand, so his wasn’t really needed whereas Trump’s was during the heart of the pandemic when businesses were shut down and even without any restrictions many people didn’t want to be in large crowds.

Trump’s of course still contributed to inflation though.

One was bipartisan, in the mist of covid hysteria, everyone wanted it.

The other one wasn't and solely down party lines with the GOP warning it was throwing gas in the fire.

How many times do we have to explain that to you Tiny Brain?

What is this "assault on energy"?  We exported more oil under Biden in us history.  Explain what Biden did to energy with actual facts.

Need doesn't matter nor does need impact the numbers.  When money is injected into the system, inflationary pressure increases.  It's monetary policy not politics.

How many times do I have to tell you in doesn't matter.  Monetary policy doesn't care about politics.  Trump spent almost twice as much as Biden, therefore almost twice the inflationary impact.

If there was a law passed today that gave every American a million dollars, and every dem and rep voted for it, it still increases inflation.

But based on the “pent up demand,” don’t you think people were going to spend money even without Biden’s stimulus?

If Trump were to do as Biden did.....and announce his ntent to eliminate oil and coal, which touches every single commodity bought and sold....and then the markets immediately priced that in, as they tend to do....we would see real inflation in three months.....the lag is about 90 days....it was a stupid and unforced error that spun us into horrible inflation.....now, you can pretend that did not happen....or you can learn from it

I do.  I didn't think that Biden needed to hand out more money, and I think it affected inflation.  I also think Trump's handout affected inflation and given Trump's hand outs were 1.5x the effect was 1.5x

Blaming Biden's rhetoric for a spike in oil prices is lazy and anti intellectual.  The spike in oil prices in 2021 was caused by again, increased demand post COVID, opec, and a slow rebound in supply.

Facts supporting my statement: https://www.eia.gov/todayinenergy/detail.php?id=50738&utm_source=chatgpt.com

You keep trying to blame inflation on Biden for political purposes instead of using factual data like I am.

Blaming Biden rhetoric for the spike that rhetoric cause is useful.... here is what you should learn....DONT FOCKING DO THAT STUPID SH!T YOU FOCKING IDIOT

Admittedly, a simple concept...I would hope everyone, to include and perhaps especially....focking politicians.would have learned...

But hey, I get it, liberals learn more slowly than others....have to hurt swarms of people before they hit that "aha" moment

What data do you have that shows that his rhetoric led to the price hike?  I have you several examples of what was more likely to cause the price hike with supporting sources.

You just have your biased uneducated opinion.

10 billion in the green new deal or whatever you want to call it to build the postal fleet of electric vehicles. 250 four years later. But you can bet the donors got paid. Talk about waste fraud and abuse.

Can't even grasp a simple analogy?  I'm trying to dumb it down for you as much as possible since we all know you suck at economics.

Covid and all the democrats and most of the Republicans and Trump lit the fire.   Most of them will say to this day it was warranted because of covid. The democrats and Biden dumped gasoline on the fire despite all the warnings.  1.5 times as much 🤣 doesn’t matter when it turns a fire into a burnout.   It was 2021 and everyone knew covid was BS by then, but, that didn't stop the retards.
