That's not the same thing as your idiotic claim that I ruined an entire message board. Our flame wars here are legendary, but that pretty much ran its course. I respect the man.

Those who post at The Sanctuary are whip smart, funny as sh!t and quite intolerant of anyone trying to fock up the place. And it's well moderated. If you're going to start a thread, it better be a good one, lest it get moved to the bargain bin.

You're at the opposite end of the spectrum from what would fit in over there, because you're dumb, wish harm upon other people's kids and creepy, among myriad other reasons.

It was created to box out mooks like you.

I figure that most posts over there get two views in a year, unlike ones moved to the bargain bin which get zero.

I'm glad you had almost a whole day to craft this amazing response.

These guys have plenty of money to get implants, trust me all they do in their group texts is show off pictures on luxurious vacations with extravagant drinks while I'm working during the day 😅

I was talking about you, Toofy.

Bert is retired. Jetdoc is retired from his main career and works as a teacher for the heck of it. TRF and I could retire if we felt like it but work in similar fields that are rewarding and more lifestyle than jobs.

Selling insurance is rewarding. They make movies about it.

Did the guy in the movie give up his life long dream to retire to small town and return to writing?  Instead stick with the 50 cats, fatty and dogshite that the rain washes into the pool lifestyle?

T-minus 4 days until I go to the Kansas City International airport and pickup some of these guys

dinner reservations here Saturday night

Apparently these guys like yacht rock, so might end up here later that night.

Which is right next door to this place, so that's cool.

Sunday I'm trying to convince them going to the KU/ MU bball game in downtown KC is a stellar idea, but if not we'll be watching that game at noon along with other NFL teams like the Jets play somewhere drinking beers.

Tailgate from Sunday is ordered and will be ready for pickup that afternoon from Q39 and then it's off to Arrowhead.

On Monday my new friends leave me. :(

this reminded me of me trying to explain to my wife I'm getting a hotel room and going to party in KC for the next couple days with fellas I've never met before.

She was like, "what if they're weird and it sucks?" :dunno:

I got patted down at airport security, so I'm rolling into K.C. highly aroused.

What a fabulous weekend. Toofy is a five-star host, providing transportation as well as some killer barbecue for Arrowhead tailgating.

With Jetdoc, TRF and myself being Texans fans, it was particularly sweet that they won last night, although that was an ugly game. The Chiefs are not good, and neither is the Texans' offense.

On Saturday night, we went to an awesome German place, followed by a night of cheese Fleetwood Mac covers at some place called Knuckleheads, from which Toofy emerged with only a vague recollection of the evening.

Hung out at a sports bar yesterday, watching NFL and college basketball games.

I learned a lot about cold-weather games, and it wasn't really all that cold by comparison. I had on more layers than a Taco Bell burrito but still felt cold.

Toofy provided these little hand and foot warmers I thought wouldn't do shat, but man they worked great.

This was a quintesseential, classic Geek Meet, which we will no doubt do again. This is how the Silverbacks roll.

And how about a little Guess The Geek, for old time's sake!
