Well the dude featured in the story did it to escape the scourge of LGBT wokeness in the US. I guess bullets are preferable to homosexuals. I think he made the right choice, he belongs in Russia. But I do feel bad for his kids.

This doesn't seem like it was very well thought out. 

Kind of like when celebrities claim they are moving to XUZ country if their guy doesn't win.....only THEN do they check citizen requirements for said country and realize that they might not have it so bad here. Many countries require that you have a job for a certain amount of time, and you have to be able to speak the language fluently (non-English countries of course).
